However, smart to bring them both in to drive up the trade value, as they could think just like you put it....

Hmm. Not sure that would drive up their trade value, since they’re already the consensus picks at #2 and #3.

If they can conic the other teams they are undecided and are serious about both that could create an urgency with teams that are targeting either to ramp ups their approach.

Not bad but it would be even riskier than if we traded for Brown. At least we have Dame who Brown likes and might want to re-sign to play with.
 
Scoot back at #2 according to HH.
Hornets strategy is working, they've created a frenzy of trade offers for both.
 
I am not surprised IF true Scoot is back at 2 and not going to lie I would prefer Miller cause of fit to Scoot and might be easier to convince Dame to stay but I guess we will really find out in a few hours. Also this is why were not hearing any legit trade rumors cause the Hornets are wishy washy and holding things up not blaming them cause they should it's a huge decision to make.

Money is POURING in on Scoot to go #2. The odds on Miller at #2 have dropped considerably.
 
I would be surprised if the Hornets skipped out on Scoot. That said, I don't know what leverage they have in releasing all the information declaring that they favor Miller. If anything, that would only make the #3 worth more than the #2 to the Scoot believers. In that way, I think either Portland or Houston smokescreened to improve their pick values or the Hornets do feel that way.

Imo, I think they do, indeed, favor Miller. Could be Mitch truly thinking he has Kobe again and Michael thinking he found Bird again (just like he did when he chose Morrison).
 
NBA TV said Scoot just signed with Puma. That is all.

Took me months of counseling to get over that dude in my beloved Blazer colors.

Meyers Leonard was Walton-esque in comparison.
 
I get bad vibes, too. I’d love for him to prove me and all doubters wrong, though. He seems arrogant and his numbers don’t stack up to his hype. If this is the pivotal point where we move on from Dame, he has some gigantic shoes to fill.

Would you prefer the more-quiet Miller whose poor judgment led him to be involved in a murder?
I am VERY glad the Blazers don't have to deal with that can of worms.
