I understand fine what you are saying, its just that you've been misled by your podcasts to see politics as just bad in every way period. Sure, you will find something to dislike about every politician, but unless we live in total anarchy we are going to have politicians so instead of just shaking your finger, try and discern between the better ones and the worse ones. More importantly, try and discern between the better policies and the worse policies they support.

On a side note, I have met several politicians that have been wonderful people. Republican former Governor Atiyeh for example and the famed Portland Mayor Bud Clark. These people aren't poltergeists, they are people. Yes, anyone looking for the top spot, the President, is likely to be too self-important, but still a person who likely at some point in time wanted to do good. Not all, but most of the time i believe tat to be true.

First of all I find the article you linked very hard to believe. We are comparing a total of 8 years to about a year. We get it, you love Obama. I’m not saying trump is an angel, he’s not. I don’t like him. Obama was way more presidential and I give him that but he went back on a lot of things. The drone killings are indeed a factor. I have an opinion and on things. Upon further research it looks like Bernie Sanders and wife bought their beachside third house for 600k. Not including however much the other two houses were. Don’t know about you but the normal every day Americans he tried so hard to say he relates to, doesn’t own three houses.

I would say warren buffet is a better example of actually living pretty modest as he does. Sanders is just another liar
