Clippers are interesting because they can offer up Gallinaris expiring and also have some young assets like SGA. They can pair AD with another max guy. I’d definitely put them above the Lakers as potential trade partners. Shit, New Orleans should reroute Danilo our way for Turner. Save em a couple bux and we get a guy we could actually use. Griffin owes Olshey for the Varajao favor anyway hehe.

I love CJ. Obviously I would much have him starting for us next year then Simons. But if I am New Orleans, with where they are right now, it would be just the opposite. I would much rather have the young 20 year old and his contract along with Zach and his contract, and our first round pick. (Along with ending contract of ET) It would come down to how well they know Simons and if they like him as much as we do.

it would be really fun to see a frontcourt of Mitchell and Zion. Probably playing more volleyball than basketball.

I agree with this. Make the trade with NY. Trade Jrue to the highest bidder. You start your rebuild with Dennis Smith Jr, RJ Barrett, Zion, and Mitchell Robinson plus whatever you can get for Jrue. That's a pretty good start to "the process".
