what is funny is that one of them is helping the other out. Never thought those 2 storied franchises would ever do that.Boston is much more realistic than the Lakers, even in a three team scenario.
Neil talks a lot bla bla bla, i'm sure it will be a quite offseason for us, like allways. He's just not a GM who can bring a Star Player, not even in a trade, Imagine if we had ujury or what his name isBtw if rich Paul is actually serious about AD hitting free agency, I can’t see Olshey pulling the trigger. That was my fear all along. He just doesn’t take risks, nevermind one of this magnitude.
dviss1...you work for the Kohler distributor?Really? I work at the place I do now because my old supervisor (and good friend) recommended me.
Because of that, KOHLER has an amazing employee in me.
There's nothing wrong with that at all and I'm sure you just like most people have gained employment because of a connection.
Hope this Bitch never makes the Playoffs
This is a new angle. They're not trying to keep Kyrie to convince AD to stay, rather they're trying to trade for AD to convince Kyrie to stay.
Yes. It's called nepotism and - especially when it comes to positions that matter (ie, not basketball) - it matters a great deal.... lots of people only get where they're at because of knowing the right people, is anything wrong with that?
They got no money if Horford opts in and Davis and Hayward are on the roster. Not for anyone of significance.Could the plan be to sign someone other than Kyrie? What’s their cap situation?

For all the acclaim Paul seems to get, it often gets ignored that he has absolutely destroyed Davis' public and media perception. He only received 1 third team All NBA vote. He's done more damage to Davis' career than good.It really seems like a stupid move on Rich Paul's part, to me. You've just further cut down the number of teams that would be willing to trade for your guy AND you've diminished the return haul. If I'm NO, I'm like "OK, sit another year. We'll explore trades again at the midseason deadline, and, if AD doesn't play, our own pick will be in the top 10 again anyway."
from 30 mil?Hmm maybe Horford opts out so he can get a long term deal locked in.
That's a good point, at what point does AD and his agent drive down his value to the point it's better for them to just try to go get another high lotto pick next year and not tie up any money by making a trade. It really seems like a stupid move on Rich Paul's part, to me. NVM, they are working against each other as it should be.what is funny is that one of them is helping the other out. Never thought those 2 storied franchises would ever do that.

I don't agree with this if it results in us improving too.If were involved just to facilitate I'll be mad. I hate when a team helps other teams get good... If we're not involved at all, then ok. If Neil Olshey helps LA get AD, ugh...
Everyone has certain, power's and influences, and money and whatever that they use to benefit the ones they care about and trust. Yes, it's a problem (sometimes), but not always.Yes. It's called nepotism and - especially when it comes to positions that matter (ie, not basketball) - it matters a great deal.
You know that's not how it's going to work. It will Drastically improve another team with a star and it sure won't drastically improve the Blazers... Every time a team is the third wheel in facilitating a deal, it's like oh you get something super tiny that kind of improves your cap space, or something like that while making another team really good. Making another team better than you ultimately hurts you.I don't agree with this if it results in us improving too.
What if we end up with pick #4?You know that's not how it's going to work. It will Drastically improve another team with a star and it sure won't drastically improve the Blazers... Will really depend on what we had to give up. They give up CJ for the #4 and Dame should be calling Neil with his own trade demand...What if we end up with pick #4?
