Will you be getting one?1. People are concerned that the vaccines aren't FDA Approved or they are rushed without any long term studies or concerned with the small number of adverse reactions.
2. People know the survival rate of COVID if you do catch COVID and are willing to risk it.
Will you be getting one?
I missed measles vaccine by only a few weeks. Measles nearly killed me. No exaggeration.
My little brother had to be locked out of my room since quarantine was the only way to prevent contagion. I was still sick in bed wen vaccine was approved. My father took him for shot. He probably cried because that's what one year olds do. But he never got measles.
Getting my second dose this weekend. From what I have heard, that’s the one that has given most people some negative reactions.
I was nervous about getting it, but we’re supposed to be back at work soon, so it’s a calculated risk.
I had school friends with polio, I stood in line with my mother for what seemed like hours for the sugar cube. Early fifties.I've never been as sick as I was with measles. That vaccine is worth it's weight in gold. Any parent who doesn't get their kids inoculated for that is out of their mind.

A newsreel at the time described the February 1954 vaccination clinic as a historic turning point. “The vaccine works! It is safe, effective and potent. The tests prove it is 90 per cent effective in preventing paralytic polio. And some day, says Dr. Salk, the vaccine may completely eradicate the menace of polio.”
I never have reactions to flu shots, but that 2 shindrx shingles shot kick my ass for 24 hours.
I’m three weeks out to my second shot and leaving for Hawaii that evening. Hoping if it gives me trouble, it waits 24 hours. The few folks I know that have had both shots were sluggish but not a lot of other symptoms...
Just a word of warning: my buddy got the shits the evening after his second shot.

I’ve been through worse...
I'm heading to CVS for my vaccination tomorrow. The State only sends me updates. Bullshit. I was lucky to get an appointment with CVS 5 days in advance of my sign up as I was searching their website. Looked the other day and all the stores are booked again. We get our first 9:30am tomorrow at Walgreens.
Same exact experience for meFirst shot was no problem, second one kicked my ass. I had night sweats, chills, body aches and ran a fever off and on. Reactions vary, give yourself 48 hours of no responsibilities just in case. Dont be scared though, all in all it wasn't that bad of an experience and being vaccinate now makes me feel kind of awesome when I am in public.
On an on a six hour airplane ride?
