You're not understanding how it works fully.

There are numerous times I wish we could edit something or delete it. But then I do it and it causes a kerfuffle because that grey area was noticed and not the other.

What you're asking for is an absolute in a grey area. That is impossible, both in life and on S2.

This is where we have issues. I'm not crying about it. I'm trying to have a rational discussion with people who don't see things the way I see them. Which is kinda the point of this forum.

I've never been threatened with a gun unless you want to include combat. In combat I've even been threatened by some of my asshole fellow soldiers. Like an idiot I told them off and turned around. Geez, how bright is a 20 year old kid?

I can not be more pleased with the job that he is doing. Everything that I was looking for help with he is doing.

He's running multiple game day contests on the forum. That is a ton of work and it's not easy coming up with original content for 82 games a season.

He also did an amazing job editing and organizing the questions the forum submitted to Harry Glickman into a flowing and engaging interview. His hard work on this is paying off in ways that I haven't gotten a chance to tell him about yet. As I mentioned in the forum, that interview is being featured in this Sunday's game program. That is excellent exposure for this community. Also the Blazers are going to have Mr Glickman sign some game programs for us to giveaway in the forum. That's a nice piece of memorabilia for some of you hardcore Blazer fans.

Because of the success of this I have also set up an interviews with Larry Weinberg and all of this season's rookies and new players that were signed. With the passing of Mr Allen I think an interview with the person who sold him the team will give us some very unique insight that hardcore fans such as ourselves won't find anywhere else.

So yes, Chris is doing a hell of a great job and the forum is benefiting from it.

All I said is I don’t think he’s all that great at it. Obviously others disagree. Is what it is. That’s great he’s doing that stuff. However I’m talking community managing. That seems to be where the mods slip on the forum

Yeah well as some of us know they say one thing but the action is different. I went off stupidly. Nothing too crazy but he did do that dumb gray area baiting I talk about. I guess I’m dumb for taking it. However it’s amazing in this forum you can apparently just bait anybody you want and get away with it because it’s not a personal insult. Like come on when people bait they aren’t looking to be civil or start a conversation on the topic yet the mods play dumb to this. I don’t know

i tried to earlier. I thought it was going fine. Then dviss obviously read what I said and baited me instead of jump into a productive conversation.

Well. Like I tell my wife.....I wish she wouldn't buy Halloween candy on clearance and leave it in the house. I end up eating it when I shouldn't have and it sucks because I wouldn't have bought it so I wouldn't have eaten it.

She baits me into it if you will.

You and I were having what I thought was a constructive conversation. I leave for a while and wow, you kinda of lost it.
 
Me and papaG got into it once. He tried to find me in real life talking like he was gonna fuck with my job and family or whatever. Looking for me online and shit, trying to find out my name and where I worked.

I flipped... and nobody cared. That’s when I learned to stop caring too.

my only take on this is the blatant circumventing of the 'don't attack the poster, attack the post' as a way to ....attack the poster. Its like...who are we kidding? "Your post is an idiot" - seriously? Either let people attack posters if that makes them feel good about themselves, or eliminate it altogether. I cant count the amount of times I have had someone (the same person) 'attack my post' but make it clear you know, it just my post, not me. Right. It doesn't make a difference to me if its me or my post, the amount I care about some people in here is so low its not noticeable to the human eye.
