I sell most of my stuff on Ebay now. I made a 5 dollar profit on World Cup Germany 06.

Bought it for $50.00, sold it for $55, then $10 shipping to Canada.

Madden coming out falls on the same day as my first day of school. It would be nice to stay home, get Madden, and play it instead of going to school.

Is anyone else getting it for 360? My gamertag on XB Live is ak47sbc so add me and we can play.

Hey, can anyone answer my question? Will the 40 yard dash and bench press mini games be in the PS2 version? I keep hearing doesn't or it does. Thanks y'all.

The 40 yard dash and the bench press is in the PS2 version.

After my initial play, I didn't like it much.

But now I'm hooked. It took me awhile to get used to the passing aspect, but the run block is truley amazing.

Thanks a lot man! You're the best! Man, I preordered on amazon.ca on the 18th and it still didn't ship. I'm sad I'm here waiting while everyone else got theirs. Probably also my fault for getting free shipping lol.

Do they have rookie pictures? And how is superstar mode (In detail)?

I don't know about the rookie pctures but after reading the madden diary superstar mode seems real good. They have ticket request for family members. They have more options and that's all i heard about it.

Yes, they have rookie pictures.

The Superstar mode was how I expected to be. Following and playing your own superstar (not the entire team) is great. Last year was pretty bogus because all you did was read text, listen to pointless phone calls, and control the entire team (which was basically playing franchise mode with a players' view). I can't really give full detail on how it is, but you can always read...

Diary Of a Madden Superstar part 3
Diary of a Madden Superstar part 4

I dunno where part 2 went,

Do the ticket request even matter? I got the same email from 'Mom' saying to give my sister tickets to the 1st game.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting vcwannabe15:</div><div class="quote_post">Is this game worth 50 bucks for PS2? I might get it.</div>

No, it's a rent situation. I'd say rent it to see if you like it or not because a lot of us have different opinions. And if you do like it, buy it from circuit city, they have a sale and it's 37.99.

It's gonna be hard to rent it. I'll buy it in a couple of weeks, and if I dont like it I could always sell it.

One more question how is the crib in superstar mode can you actually do stuff with it? Like you could in the 2k games?

Lovin it so far on the 360. I have my RB in superstar mode. Currently sitting at a 95 overall in the preseason and I have the starting job with the Broncos after being their 4th round pick. Fastest 40 time with him was a 4.62 at the combine and got 24 reps there as well.

I think I've got the 40 figured out pretty well. The only thing I'm awful at is finishing it. The whole leaning thing is tough to time.

So as I'm playing my first game in Superstar (and dominating at that), has anyone else had issues with the CPU passing. There has been a ton of picks in this game already on both sides. It doesn't help me that my starting QB is hurt though, but Bulger and Van Pelt (my QB) have thrown at least 4 combined through only one half.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Best Kept Secret:</div><div class="quote_post">Do they have rookie pictures? And how is superstar mode (In detail)?</div>I'm loving Superstar Mode so far. It's highly addicting for me right now. The initial is very fun, I think. You get to choose your agent and all that fun stuff. After that, you have individual workouts with a few teams, conduct a couple interviews, take the IQ test, and then it's off to the combine. The combine and workouts are the same thing. You show off your speed in the 40, show off the strength in the bench press, and then you do a mini game based on your position. After all of that, you get selected in the NFL draft. I was a 4th rounder myself. After all that jazz, you get the ability to do practices and learn the position. The games are very different than what you're used to probably. If you're on offense, you only control your guy. So, if you're a running back, you don't always get the opportunity to run. Sometimes you go out for a pass, sometimes you block for the QB, sometimes you're not even in on it. And then you don't play defense at all if you're on offense. All in all, I'm loving it so far. I just finished my first game and completely tore it up, rushing for 160 yards and 3 TDs. My guy, just in case you guys were wondering, won the starting job in the preseason and already has an overall of about 94. He's a stud to say the least.

You always have to adjust the AI difficulty for both teams, to make it realistic. This year, they have like codes you can insert, so you can trade AI settings with other people.

Yeah, it's kinda the same as last year with the preparation, training camp, interviews, and enviroment, except that you only play as your own person and don't have to worry about the team.

I finished 3 games, I'm also a RB and so far I have 1 TD in total with about 150 yards. Amhan Green is making a fool out of me being 2nd string, so I might ask to be traded.

I had a superstar HB at first but I couldnt stand the camera and how you couldnt see half the field so I made another one with a QB. I'm the starter for the Ravens right now ranked a 95, they don't pass much but it's a pretty good team to be on since they've good some good O-Linemen, good recievers, and a good defense. The offense is mostly running the ball but I still enjoy playing in the offense because I've got to be constantly calling audibles, changing the directions of the plays, and my QB is a good scrambler so that adds another dimension to my offense. It really is addicting.

So the superstar mode is good right? That's my favorite feature.

Has anyone noticed (for the 360 at least) that as you unlock hall of fame players during franchise mode they go to the teams they were on automatically? I have all these teams to compete against with their roster stacked with 99's

Save your default roster, and load it every time you get into the franchise.

I've heard that the 360 leaves out alot of good features and has some weird quirks. Such as you can't edit rosters, no fantasy draft, no owner mode, and players get assigned the #0.

I'm content with my PS2 version. I'll take gameplay over graphics any day. (hence me not being a Halo fan)

yeah, thats really annoyng, and the stuff that shard said is annoying to. No fantasy draft sucks, and you cant edit numbers. I traded for marion barber, and he was assigned #0, how lame is that? but the gameplay is fun and the graphics are unbelievable
