Experience at being clowns:smiley-katemoss: . Obama has more experience at the highest level than any of those guys.

Why is Newt even wasting his time. The only somewhat respectable candidate is Romney and he's a joke, too.

Obama's 'experience' has 2.5 million fewer people working than when he took office while doubling the national debt and tripling the annual deficit. Plus, I obviously meant he had less experience when he was elected than anybody on the GOP stage tonight.

He's a fucking disaster. Thank goodness we only have to deal with the idiot for another year or so.

You could vote for the President and it wouldn't bother me one iota. I'd write-in Pat Paulson before ever voting for Obama, though.

And that won't bother me whatsoever. And I'm not sure what it has to do with what you quoted me saying, either.

What GOP candidate do you think will get elected over him?

Well, I suppose if you labeled Obama's virtual failure of an administration as "experience", then you may actually be correct.

Anybody with a pulse. Obama can't run on his record, because it's for shit, so he'll have to be Mr. Negative and just smear people, which is all he does anyhow.

Obama is not the greatest, but the fact is he got Osama, ended the war in Iraq, and prevented a Depression (Just read Krugman this week on that last one.)

Lots of misses on other tings, but those are not insignificant.

He got kicked out of Iraq, he didn't end it.

Also he started a brand new war in Libya and randomly used drones to kill a teenager and other citizens.

Paul Roderick Gregory took a dump all over the New York Times and Paul Krugman. Obama is also a nobel peace prize winner.... Please. Krugman also believes that if aliens invaded us it would be good for the economy.

Europe doesn't believe in "stimulus" and neither does Canada or Japan anymore. Obama is a horrible president and you're a hypocrite on foreign policy too.

Ron Paul is a kook, and Michelle Bachmann seems to get off on simply attacking others. She should be Obama's VP; they're of the same ilk.

So vote for Gary Johnson then. Either way the neocons are completely inferior to real Liberals (Libertarians).

We didn't get kicked out of anywhere. If the US Military had wanted to remain in Iraq we would have god damn done it.

And they would have been imprisoned and taken into custody. Chill Dog.

Why would he want to remain in Iraq? I'm glad they got kicked out.

I'm interested in your opinion as to why Mitt Romney is a joke. You can certainly disagree with his policies, but what in his past leads you to belive he's unserious and unqualified?

I am so disgusted with the politics in America that I am only voting for local candidates. Anything at a Federal Level I'm voting for Daffy Duck. I know that most of you think that throwing a vote away is wrong and only emboldens the powers that be to continue to hold power but what's my alternative? The only people I can vote for are the problem. My vote for one of them will be just as wasted.

No, I realize that Washington DC has become so partisanly gridlocked that Obama didn't have a chance. If a Republican gets elected in 2012, it'll be the same thing: the Democrats will block EVERYTHING. The gauntlet was dropped when the Repubs impeached Clinton. That was the beginning of the end. Gore v Bush in 2000 just accelerated it. Yes, 9/11 caused both sides to overreact and the Demos rolled over on a shitload of stuff they should have dug their heels in over (endless war, which is now concrete policy), but the treatment of Obama has been downright treasonous. The clear stated goal of the Repubs since day 1 is to do anything and everything to sabotage the Obama presidency, and they've played chicken with a full-on economic Depression to do it. Obama as a person: straight up guy. Obama as a president? Terrible, but he hasn't been allowed to be anything but terrible. His treatment, plus the open corruption and almost contempt for the average American citizen by the leaders of our government (on both sides) has destroyed my interest in anything regarding federal politics.

Yes, it's all of those meanies not letting poor Barack get stuff done. Poor Barry nevers says anything bad about anyone, or tries to pit one group of citizens against another.

You did read your own posts during the Bush years, right, you hypocrite? You're what's wrong with America, dude. You are as partisan and as hateful as anyone I've ever read on the OT boards, and that included BBB.net.

None of those things are new. Democrats borked Bork and John Tower in the 1980s. When Reagan called for balanced budget amendment and line item veto, the Dems declared his budgets DOA and sabotaged the economy by running up deficits. Democrats were out to make GHW Bush a 1-term president that they included a tax hike in every single bill they passed, trying to force him to go back on his "no new taxes" pledge. He set a record for vetoes.

Our politics has been both partisan and a contact sport since the days Jefferson used smear tactics to make John Adams a 1-term president.

Poor Obama was dealt a shitty hand all right. Democrats had a filibuster proof Senate and majority House. Clinton had a republican congress and got most of what he wanted.

Well, for one, he's Mormon....

If they legalize marijuana and tax it, our social security will be saved.

Didn't you say you were an accountant? With that kind of math and logic, you're going to get your clients thrown in jail.

Vote for a 3rd party. The more votes that go to 3rd party candidates, the more obvious the discontent will be to dems and reps.

..and will generally get the incumbent elected. Now, 2016, you might have a plan. ;)

Dunno, the last time there was a semi-serious 3rd party candidate, the incumbent (pappa Bush) got beat.

Very good point.

Go, Paul, go!!!!

Ooops. I suppose it's more determined by which party the 3rd candidate leans towards (and could potentially split.)

Nah F that, if Obama wins I still win.

He gets blamed for everything and there's Gridlock in Washington.
