Superteams don't get swept in the first round.

We’d be great, in 2008.We're super mediocre
Without that 6 game home losing streak, we would've won 55 games and would've finished closer to 2 seed than the 4 seed. Had we event went 5-1, that would still be true. It can both ways. You're choosing to be negative.
If we take away all their wins and losses they have a perfect record...Both on extremes. So meet in the middle. Above average team that needs another star/superstar to be considered a super team. (Probably need harkless to take a serious draymond green type jump too.)
When checking averages, toss out the five worst and five best.
There is your mean.

If we take away all their wins and losses they have a perfect record...![]()
Thank you.If we subtract 13 wins, we would have missed the playoffs. If we subtract 13 losses, we would have had a better record than GSW.
But, neither of those things happened. Pretending they did is stupid.

Which clown? You'll have to be more specific.Which one of you toolbags said I post exactly like this clown?
Denver's gone back to back years just missing the playoffs at 9 seed. That is the worst place to be. Isaiah Thomas won't help much. They are all set for more mediocrity. If you were a Denver fan, you'd be talking about how horrible the team is and how the Blazers are on the brink of contending.Denver arguably has a brighter future that us. They're 3-4 games behind us, with a much younger team, that just landed MPJ, who was presumably the number 1 pick a year ago, as well as Isaiah Thomas, who should make them slightly better as well.
Meanwhile, we're substituting Ed Davis and Shabazz Napier for Seth Curry and more Zach Collins.
Yikes.
Denver's also another example of a team that has an older "average age" but who's core is much younger and has much more potential.
I totally disagree. While uber talented, I still like the Blazers top three more. Dame will be only 28. It's not like he's old, and while Jokic puts up fancy stats, I like the defense and physicality of Nurk going forward. Jokic is truly more of a PF. Giving the Blazers way too little respect IMO.Denver arguably has a brighter future that us. I like the Blazers top 3 more, but theyre top 3 has more growth left in them than ours does. They're already very close and they have a bigger window with more growth potential from their core. Jamal Murray has legitimate all-star potential.I totally disagree. While uber talented, I still like the Blazers top three more. Dame will be only 28. No, because I'm not clueless.Denver's gone back to back years just missing the playoffs at 9 seed. That is the worst place to be. Isaiah Thomas won't help much. They are all set for more mediocrity. You can't make this shit up...Thank you.
Denver scares me this year. IT along with Murray and Beasley and Harris will be a dynamic backcourt. Barton and Millsap at the forward spots are better than any forwards we have. Then unicorn Jokic, with their frontcourt backed by MPJ and Plums. No, because I'm not clueless.
They're 3-4 games worse than us. Even if IT doesn't help much, he'll still help them win an extra 2 games or so at least. They were playing Mudiay and Devin Harris last year... Even the crappy version of IT is an upgrade. If Millsap is healthy all year or if we don't have such good injury luck, that's another two games. BOOM, there even with us. Plus, our top players are in their prime. Their's are still very young with a ton of untapped potential, and they have a bigger window of opportunity. Therefore, they have a brighter future.
Which is why I didn't say they're better than us now. But they were close last year, and should improve this season while having a younger core with more potential.
And they were close the year before, too, added Paul Millsap and additional young assets and still finished behind us, yet again. Jokic is extremely talented on offense, but he's also soft, both physically and mentally. They lack both rim protection and perimeter defense. It doesn't seem they have addressed either need in any significant way. If anything, adding Isaiah Thomas makes their perimeter defense even worse.

Agreed. To me Denver needs to prove they are better. They remind me of other teams in the past that were fun to watch on offense, but never really contended because of defensive inadequacies.

Jamal Murray is good but as long as Curry, Westbrook, Harden, Lillard, CP3, Mitchell, and Klay Thompson are in the league, he won't be in the All Star game. I didn't even mention DeRozen or Butler. Only way Murray makes All Star team is if Nuggets have the best record in the league. Even then, Jokic would probably be their only All Star representative because of how many All-Time Great guards are in the West.I like the Blazers top 3 more, but theyre top 3 has more growth left in them than ours does. I just don't see how it's disrespect. They were 4 games worse last year and a couple the year before, and their youth has more top end potential (Murray, Jokic, MPJ specifically) Therefore, they have a brighter future. What part of that are you arguing?
We're talking about level of play, not actual selections. You missed the entire point.Jamal Murray is good but as long as Curry, Westbrook, Harden, Lillard, CP3, Mitchell, and Klay Thompson are in the league, he won't be in the All Star game. Someone who gets it. Can't take anyone seriously when they say Denver has a more promising future than ours. Jesus. And they were close the year before, too, added Paul Millsap and additional young assets and still finished behind us, yet again. Millsap missed half of the year last year, and IT doesn't fix their problems, he just make a their strengths stronger. Plus, were talking about the future in terms of longevity and potential.. I didn't really see you address those. And they were close the year before, too, added Paul Millsap and additional young assets and still finished behind us, yet again.
