I don't know if you remembered but @Denny Crane did not like Trump at all. I don't think he even voted for him buddy.

No, I think you must be mistaken. He's a huge fanboy. Didn't you ever run into him at the Trump rallies?

If only being wrong was painful, it would be fun to see you suffer.

So, a sadist, are you? Too bad for you, I feel no pain.

Nah. One of the core tenants of comedy is seeing someone else's pain.

Slapstick.

The point is if being wrong did cause you pain, you'd be in pain almost all the time.

He promised to do everything in his power to reduce regulations and lower taxes. SoftBank owns enough of T-Mobile and Sprint to control them both. They wanted to merge the two, but Obama used regulations to block it. Trump is less likely to stand in the way.

Of course, the $57B invested here should be a good deal for SoftBank on its own.
god i would love is a decent company took over sprint and made them less shit

Or tenets, maybe.

HUD secretary Carson will evict the tenants of comedy.

Too bad, Softbank already owns Sprint. Now they will Sprint-ify more companies.

US Steel wants to accelerate investments, bring back jobs, CEO says

United States Steel would like to accelerate its investments and hire back laid-off employees now that Donald Trump will be occupying the Oval Office, CEO Mario Longhi told CNBC on Wednesday.

"We already structured to do some things, but when you see in the near future improvement to the tax laws, improvements to regulation, those two things by themselves may be a significant driver to what we're going to do," he said in an interview with CNBC's "Power Lunch."

In addition, the belief that the U.S. economy can grow at least 3.5 percent also adds to what the company can do, Longhi noted.

"I'd be more than happy to bring back the employees we've been forced to lay off during that depressive period," he said, which could be close to 10,000 jobs.

As much as you may loathe Trump, how can you thumb your nose at prosperity?

I keep saying Obama should go on vacation and take congress with him.

Now I don't care if congress does anything and maybe the president just cuts deal after deal.

But but but but but we need endless debates about studying things and giving grants to study other things, how will anything get done otherwise?

Donald Trump’s favorability rating has spiked as the president-elect enjoys a honeymoon period with voters ahead of his inauguration next month.

A Bloomberg Politics survey released Wednesday found that 50 percent of those polled have a positive view of Trump. That’s up from only 33 percent who viewed Trump favorably in the same poll from August.

It’s a significant reversal for Trump, who was a historically unpopular presidential candidate. Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clintonwere among the most disliked candidates in the modern era.

Until the release of Wednesday’s Bloomberg poll, Trump had not reached the 50 percent favorability mark in any survey conducted in the last two years since he began running for president.

Amazing how listening to the voters will have them actually start liking you. Go figure...

It would be nice if the west, specifically Silicon Valley was represented more in the Trump administration. The NY financial district is well represented except it doesn't matter the president or the party, they have always been well represented. Technology and innovation is how we keep our place at the head of the world table.

Who falls into that criteria?

Also does this mean you are okay with the wife of the guy who created what is now known as the WWE being in charge of the Small Business Administration?

I would rather see her be Secretary of Defense. It would be nice if war was as scripted and fake as wrestling.

Choreographed. I would of thought all the lawsuits by ex-wrestlers for brain damage and CTE have proved wrestling is not fake.

If the outcome is predetermined then it is scripted and fake as a sporting contest. Just because they're injured in telling that story still means it's fake.
