The Clipper blowout loss was inexcusable. They lost every quarter.....and it was at home.
At what point do you question Ty Lue?

Having said that if they win the next game they are right back in the driver's seat. For whatever reason I just don't trust the Mavs.

Harden/Westbrook shot 4-23 (17%)
those guys shouldn't need a coach who will get them better looks.

Would you all salary dump Jerami Grant to the Sixers for some picks if the opportunity arose?

They have an unprotected Clippers pick that would be interesting.
Depends on the number of picks & which ones.... but most likely

Seriously this entire board was hankering to get a player like Grant. 3 & D player that can at times create his own shot and be reliable on defense that can guard multiple positions and now you all want to shed his salary for some picks.

I could see Joe sending Grant to Milwaukee for future picks and some.

he's the 3...not so much the D....and certainly not the R (insert R jokes here)

besides that, the desire for a player similar to Grant was when the Blazers had Dame and the timeline was about 9 years older. That said, you should take the G & R off of Grant and arrive at the player that needs to be dumped more than Grant

The guy has been asked to guard multiple positions and he has done that. When the team isn't tanking and he is available he is on the floor when they need a stop. He's a long defender that can shoot well. He's the very definition of 3&D. He also seems to have been fine with his stats taking a huge hit because this team wants to lose.
One way to think of this might be that they owe him a huge debt of gratitude for sticking around this long and being a positive veteran presence. That is why I personally don't have a problem whatsoever with what he is being paid.

I don't have a problem with how much he's paid either. Empirically it's probably too much but 48 players were paid more this season, and about the same number next season

Grant was acquired for cap space (trade exception), Milwaukee'25 first, and essentially 3 2nds

That's his value. It hasn't changed. He's a nice player, but not a difference maker.

If Philly is willing to overpay for him, Im 100% cashing in

Does he make sense with the current roster? Unless we want to pivot from the youth movement, I'd rather give his minutes to Toumani.

This will be especially true if we end up landing Sarr in the draft.

I was thinking just the opposite. Toumani is more of a defender at this point, and so is Sarr. Maybe they would eventually complement each other but think Grant would complement Sarr better as he would spread the floor more.

I was thinking a front court of Camara/Sarr/Ayton. Think Camara is more suited as an off ball glue guy than Grant. And with some combo of Scoot/Ant/Shae we have enough guys who need the ball.

The double big lineup is especially interesting to me in any future rebuild. More teams are leaning into such frontcourts compared to the decade past.

Good point. However, I think Sarr is an off-the-ball guy at this point as well. He is very quick for his size. So my thinking was we need a solid 3-point shooter out there with Scoot and Shae attacking the basket. Camara was not bad as a rookie at almost 34% from 3. We need that to be a bit higher. I think he will get there though.

Some people were, but certainly not the entire board. Many people were lukewarm on Jerami, and afraid we would overpay to get him because of Dame's interest. It was largely a collective sigh of relief that we got him for minimal assets.

Steven A did an extra screamy pod. He was really mad at Tyrese Maxey for splashing miracle shots and squashing his Knicks in OT.

i won't post the link, because Steven A is too jacked up on yelling. His pod is almost as screamy as the Awful Coaching nut

Pacers up a dozen at halftime.

going after Nothern Pike, Walleye, and the "Spoonbill" catfish, can be fun adventures in Milwaukee fishing.

Knicks gettin' to the rack. 4 point lead, Coach Nurse calls timeout

B2B Brunson triples
OG lost a shoe
It's gettin funky in Philly

Embiid whacked Hartenstien in the face, and the Sixers challenge ??
