to be fair, then they traded that pick (2/6/25) they were 2nd seed in the west with a 35-16 record, and that was the 4th best record in the league. So, it was the 27th pick.
 
No matter what you feel about Trae Young you got to admit that guy is a straight gamer. The bigger the game the bigger he plays.
 
I don't want to belabor the point but it's just hard to beat an Eric Spoelstra coached team in a winner takes all situation.

I don't know about Heat fans because they have seen a lot of winning but if it's us next season in the play-in, I'll be pulling for us to win and give up our draft pick.

Something tells me the Blazers will be in the Play in but they won't give up the draft pick.

I hope the couple of million in 1st round playoff revenue is worth it for the Grizz & Heat to lose a first round pick.

That's all fine and dandy but I prefer that either Golden State or Denver lose to the bucks in the finals.
 
Bucks problems are that their depth is horrible, and Rivers is not a good coach.

Down 24 at half, and they are not coming back from this. I don’t even know if Dame coming back can save the Bucks. Their depth issues are just more glaring during the playoffs.

Pat Connaughton hasn’t even seen the court.
 
I’ve been wondering how big a part Dame had in G. Trent Jr ending up in MIL. But he’s definitely underperformed for the Bucks.
 
So far, through 3 quarters, the Bucks starters have made one 3pt shot.

As great as Jokic is (I voted for him as my MVP in my fake ballot), Denver is simply not good enough and the Clips are championship caliber
