Halliburtin shot is one that will justly be replayed over and over. I still don't like him making choke sign. Win games. Don't taunt. It turned out to be game tying, not game winning, had Pacers lost in OT Knicks would be shoving the choke down his throat. And however exciting, still just one game.
Was he just doing a tribute to Reggie miller?

Either way I'm totally fine with it. It's a game and I miss all the trash talking I grew up with in the 80/90s.

I hate when now most stars throughout the league are buddy buddy and thinking more of how to ditch their team and join up together days after the season ends than battle.

Jordan, Bird, Magic, Isiah never would've tried to jump ship and form a super team like LeBron, Durant, Butler, Harden, and eventually even Dame ultimately did.

But they won the games that got them here. i mean if old man Steph's health is going to dictate who does and doesn't deserve to be where they're at we'll be in a really weird spot.

They beat the Lakers with an injured Doncic and Lebron, and a Curryless Warriors. They got their ass beat twice in the opening 2 games of the WCF. They don't belong there. That haven't proven it anyway.

Flopping is a part of the game. It’s become part of the art of the game. I wouldn’t be surprised if flopping is secretly included in NBA practice. It will be included in the game and you will see more & more of it until the NBA really does something about it.
It's always been like that.

Think some people forget Jordans final seasons on the Bulls....it was just him parading to the line.

They were in the WCF last year.

Who "belongs" in the WCF more than the Wolves?

Yeah, that's fair enough. They have definitely got by with other teams missing their best guy or guys.

This is a parity year between big market eras. You gotta let the small markets get one occasionally. Have you even watched wrasslin?
Denver, Milwaukee, Toronto - now OKC... That's more small markets than big that would be recent winners.

Or is this now part of the conspiracy too - the NBA wants a dozen small markets to win just to throw everyone off to their true devious intentions?

Don’t you see? It goes all the way up!

If those teams were better, then they would have beat Minny without their best guy. But they weren’t so they didn’t.
Which playoffs didn't have a bunch of stars injured the last 5 years?

I swear it happens every year.

Then also when a team lose there's a bunch of reports that come out hours later of all the massive injuries they had. Who knows maybe the Wolves have 5 massive injuries they'll list if the get beat too.

I find it annoying that on NBA broadcasts more & more lately they show the distance of every 3 point shot. I get it if it’s 5 feet beyond the arc, a deep 3. But I don’t care to see the distance of every regular distance 3 point shot.
ESPN homie. They seem to think it adds to the coverage. Hate it!

Yeah all of this shit takes a lot of luck and stuff breaking or more often not breaking the right way. The last time we were truly contenders was probably 25 years ago. We're going to have to be really lucky just to get a roster together that can contend and then you have to get lucky on your playoff run (mostly with injuries) to actually have a shot at winning it all.

He looked straight over at Reggie and did it as an homage. I hate Halliburton and fucking loved it! He would have done it to Spike, but he wasn’t in the house! Great shit!

Some teams come into the playoffs absolutely haggard, like a car with bald tires and a smoking engine, because they pushed too hard in the regular season to get there. Then they get bodied by a team that ran a bit less hot to get to the same place. You can’t rely on old man LeBron to get you through a playoff series anymore. It’s not a knock against Minnesota that they took care of business against them.

Yeah I normally can't stand Halliburton's bullshit antics but this was a great homage to the Pacers' history and their greatest player in team history.

Now I wanna see Scoot or Simons do a Dame Time wrist tap in the playoffs
Shaedon would be so much better because he's so soft spoken that it would have way more impact than a guy like Halliburton who is so demonstrative. Scoot would be cool too and much more likely to do it. I'm hoping Ant's time playing for our team is over... like the guy a lot but think he's probably better elsewhere and hopefully we can get some better fitting pieces for him.

To make bad joke, Timberwolves are slinking off with collective tails between legs. Not just losing, looking totally discombobulated.

Don't have strong feelings about East match up. Other things being equal I root for underdog but I have some ties to New York and none to Indiana. Also Indiana voted for Trump and elected Pence governor. Just glad game was exciting and hope that continues.

Or if some miracle happens a finals where Randle and Divincenzo face their their old team and Karl Anthony Towns faces his.
