I’m playing game with the 7yo. We’re tossing a mini ball into a mini basket. When we shoot we pretend we are our favorite player (he says “I’m LeBron James” and I say “I’m Damian Lillard”). If we make it we do our player’s celebration but if we miss, we have to say “oh no I’m Kobe Bryant!”

Fantastic

They were in the WCF last year.

Who "belongs" in the WCF more than the Wolves?

If Steph hadn't got injured the Warriors would have made it. Not that they deserve it either. They have had their's.

So in other words the Wolves fully deserve to be in the WCF?

I can't think of any team more deserving than the teams that make it.

Didn't kobe say he wouldn't play with the hornets? I feel like that happened but im not sure.
Behind the scenes via his agent Kobe let it be known he would enroll at UNC if any team other then the Lakers ended up with his draft rights. Per the rules at the time, teams would lose draft rights of guys they'd drafted if they were under 21 and didn't come to them within a certain time... pretty sure thats how Portland attained Sabonis's rights after Atlanta had first drafted him. Before the draft happened this "rumor" was openly being stated in the national draft press. Later I heard the same stuff confirmed in interviews with multiple NBA GMs and UNC coach Dean Smith.

He took a risk and it paid off. Like they say, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take, and 56% of the shots you do take.

my favorite Kobe factoid... he became the NBA's All Time Leader in just one statistic, missed shots! Longevity LeBron has now passed him : (

I’ll take a HOF player with the most missed shots and turnovers ANYTIME……. Better than 99% of players to ever play, yessir I will.

Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson holds record for strikeouts.

LOL autocorrect changed to Halliburtin of fame!

I would be totally down for a Thunder/Pacers final.
And because of that, the NBA won’t let it happen.

Pacers are in a dominant position leading 2-0 with 3 of the next 4 in Indy.

Never would have thought after last night the Thunder might not have the biggest lead in the conference finals.

Finals game 1 date is finalized as June 5th - so if both teams sweep we'll have over a week off between games.

I remember a big break a few years ago but don't think it was close to that long.

That's crazy the Pacers just went 2-0 in the Garden.
