Can’t hate on SGA, I love his game.
Overrated
Without all the refs help he wouldn't be nearly as good.

And the sky is blue. NBA always wants a series to go 7. Why would they want less games? Doesn’t happen too often though. There’s only been one game 7 this year.NBA wants this to go 7.
SGA, Luka, Brunson, Curry are better for sure. Then you have Garland, Cunningham, Harden, Ja, Maxey, Kyrie. Is Haliburton even top 10.
Which one of those players is he better than? He's top 10
I guess if I watched every game trying to figure from what angle it could seem rigged then it wouldn't be so much fun to watch.#veryrigged

Idk man, Haliburton and Siakam are better than anyone we have.Pacers just have a lot of dawgs really. Blazers not too far off if the pacers can win it all in today’s nba

I respect your opinion but people say that about all the great players they don’t like.Overrated

I don’t think he was ever an employee for the Portland Trail Blazers. Somebody pass this along please.I liked Larry Brown personally
No such thing.Ticky tack foul
League makes money off of the broadcast contract. They make the same if it goes 7 or 4 FAMS. Right longer series build more buzz for sure, but not more cash. It’s their best way to generate revenue out of this one

Yes. No.
It doesn’t generate more money directly but, as you say, it generates more buzz AND more money for the network with the rights which could lead to a better contract in the future.
They are selling a product whether to us or the networks and buzz and length-of-series is a factor in selling that product.
Shouldn’t be too much of a challengeKinda weird since Thibs was his dad’s defensive coordinator in Boston. But Rivers seems like someone who wants to be a better podcaster than he was basketball player..
No such thing.
We know who butters your bread.
Teams don’t make any money on tickets to be honest. It’s all about that tv money.Generates more ticket sales for sure.

False. They make more money from TV, but they certainly make money on ticket sales as well.
Isn't it all relative to what you determine is paying the bills?not that much....the Blazers generated 59M in ticket sales in the 2023-24 season. Add parking and concession sales to that. But then you have to start deducting costs: labor, services, leasing agreements, utilities, security, maintenance. Those things aren't cheap for a 785,000 square foot building that's 140 feet tall with 8 different levels. Moda covers over 18 acres

Total revenue - Operating costs = net profit.
Wouldn't total revenue include tv contract income?
