Whats worse.
Portland getting swept by the Pelicans this year.
Or
A former MVP, a top 3 SF in the league, and Memelol getting beat down 4-1 by a team who lost their best player in the previous FA.

The block was clearly a goaltend, but it made up for the "turnover" right before that was really off Indy. Regardless though, that 3 was winning the game. Incredible shot. Better than MJ's playoff buzzer beater against Cleveland?
Not as good as the MJ shot because of the situation. It was a series winning shot. Similar to Dame's shot.

Are we certain that Cleveland didn't fuck up with their midseason trades? Wade, Rose, and Crowder have been playing great in playoffs. Why did Cleveland trade them?

Crowder just hit his 6th three. Cleveland could totally use him.

Okc is horrible :)

Oh well, at least they won't blow another 4th quarter lead. Down 71-46 with 8 minutes left in the 3rd. That team has a whole lot of quit in it. We may hove gotten swept, but at least we showed up.

BNM

I just don't understand why Russell Westbrook shoots so much. He's horrible at it. He's taken more shots than Paul George and Carmelo combined. What the fuck? There is substantial evidence that they play MUCH better when he takes 17 or fewer shots and yet he just chucks up the shots anyway. Makes me nostalgic for Kobe in a way. He was selfish as fuck but at least he won championships.

We showed up for one game. And in that game (4), we played horrible defense.

WTF happened in that Utah vs Okc Game? Game is tied??? Okc was down 25 in the 3rd, Wtf ???

Westbrook got 20 points in the 3rd, including 4/5 from deep.

Should we now start a thread about how Utah is Salt Choke City to reverse the jinx?

Mitchell is DWade 2.0 and better than Lillard

I hope not. OKC can’t have heroics like that in the next two games, Utah should be able to close the series at home in the next game.

What’s more likely; stars like Westbrook and George going off, or a team that leans heavily on a rookie closing a playoff game out? I’m rooting for the Jazz but they just gave a dangerous team life.

Well considering how the series have looked so far Utah are way more likely to just get the job done than Westbrook and George are to have another way above average night. They allowed OKC back into this last night but let’s not pretend like they are not big favorites to advance anymore.

It doesn’t surprise me to see the impact of Westbrook and George overrated again and Utah’s team play underrated. After game 1 half of this forum gave the series to OKC already claiming ‘this is what playoffs OKC look like’ etc. Westbrook has a good finish to the game last night (his shooting was still abysmal for the game, 17-39) but they’ve more than taken care of him in the series so far.

They’re not. At least not in my opinion. OKC has the stars and choking a 25 point lead away in an elimination game could be devastating mentally, especially for such an inexperienced team. I hope I’m wrong.
