I remember as a kid playing round ball at the park and no one liked playing with a guy that thought he's was a super star, and dominated the ball and scoring effort. Didn't matter win or lose it wasn't fun for the others to just watch someone play give me the ball.
Yeah, never fun to play with someone like that. In my rec league, I've tried to turn myself into a LeBron type of guy. Always pass the ball crisply to shooters so they have the maximum amount of time to shoot, always hit them in the shooting pocket, always look for the skip pass, and try to draw multiple defenders when I drive so that there's an open kickout. That type of attention to detail is so often ignored and not even coached at the high school level... It's something that I didn't work on till college. I'm still a scorer but I also want people to enjoy playing with me and I enjoy getting guys going.. I don't understand why that's so underappreciated by other players (like Westbrook).

Not popular opinion and I'm a big Dame fan, but I think Mitchell has a shot to be better than Dame pretty quick. He reminds me of D-Wade with a 3 point shot, that guy is legit, and he's looks to be pretty solid on defense too.

He good.

What's crazy is he was drafted with scouts believing he'd be better defensively than offensively.

No, but he has the potential to be. That kid is a badass, and an absolute pleasure to watch. He reminds me ALOT of Dame actually.
Yep, he reminds me of Lillard during Lillard's rookie year. Great potential.

Idk, it’s still LeBron fuckin James

It is and he’s basically the only reason Cleveland are even in there but he can’t win it all on his own. That roster outside of him wouldn’t even make the playoffs. They are missing Irving badly, he was the player that could go on a run and get them 30-40 points to allow James to have some time off. Not a single player capable of that anymore.

If Utah gets to the WCF, do you think Mitchell is better than Lillard? A rookie with no name teammates leads his team to the WCF.
He's got some really good teammates around him. Other than LaMarcus, and Wes, I feel the rest of the Utah team is better than the team that was around Dame. Dame is a better facilitator. Mitchell is an awesome offensive talent for sure.

I like to thank the Pels for shooting their wad against our Blazers. They didn't miss against us. Now Holiday is brick city, missing many open looks that were nothing but net. Same goes for Miratitties. Hellooooo, time to show up fellas. And the Brow looks scared of Draybiotch. Frustrating to watch.

Gobert is class but the rest of that teams is just decent/good players who are far from top tier. Rubio, Ingles and Favors are not star quality, last year Rubio was considered a flop. The bench isn’t all that either - Exum coming back from a long injury, Crowder who has struggled all season long, a 27-year old rookie Royce O’Neale, Udoh and Jerebko don’t really look like the best bench in the league.

Organic teams like Utah, Portland, and Toronto being forced to compete with teams bolstered by mercenaries is a frustrating reality.

Stevens or Snyder? For Coach of the Year

Breaking News: Lowry and DeRozan will team up with Lebron next year. If you can’t beat him, join him.

Celtics down 22 then comeback and win the game. Simply Amazing.

Watching the end of this Sixers/Celtics game.
Why can't portland play with this type of intensity?

Because Stotts is more worried about being Dame and CJ’s friend and not hurting anyone’s feelings

Yeah that Stevens looks like a real ball buster
Yep. Cause you can't motivate players to play with intensity without busting their balls.

Give me a freaking break. IMO, it has more to do with setting a extremely high standard and not being content with 'good enough'

I’m referring to “hurting people’s feelings”. Settle down
