Westbrook was the league MVP 5 seasons ago. Has any player's career, excluding injuries, ever collapsed as dramatically as Westbrook's?
Good call!Dwight possibly?
Dwight possibly?

Maybe don't throw dirt on that grave just yet.Ben Simmons.

Ben Simmons will make the all star team multiple more times in his career.Should we pour concrete instead?
Except the lineup that won a ring had the old AD, and he ain't coming back. And the lineup they have now has the VERY old LeBron. I know we think he can go on forever, but the wheels are going to fall off sooner rather than later.I don't see how the Lakers don't throw every draft pick they have available at the Pacers to get this shit done but let's hope they don't.
THT, Hield, LBJ, AD and Turner would be a much better starting lineup than the one they got their last ring with. They also have some decent bench pieces. So yeah, let this shit stay dead.
Cool with me. I don't think AD's game has fallen off he was just never healthy last season, LeBron's definitely hasn't fallen off yet but obviously both will eventually and that evetuality is almost definitely within a few years. I hope you're right and both have a really hard time switching on defense next season and the Lakers suck.Except the lineup that won a ring had the old AD, and he ain't coming back. That's a pretty bold prediction being there is no guarantee he will play this season either?Ben Simmons will make the all star team multiple more times in his career.

Right but when healthy at the right time, he's a problem for opponents. We'll see maybe all of the injuries have taken away all of his athleticism. It wouldn't hurt my feelings.Last season or any season
I don't think it's bold at all. The dude will play again and when he does he'll be one of the best in the league at everything but shooting the ball. The biggest reason why it's not bold is because there are four seasons backing up my so-called bold prediction against the one season backing up anything to the contrary. That's a pretty bold prediction being there is no guarantee he will play this season either?

When he was healthy, he couldn’t shoot.Cool with me. Kings could’ve drafted Curry, Dame, and Doncic but have zero instead. The lottery is supposed to help teams like the Kings but they keep fucking it up.

IDK? That dude is broken and now he has a very bad Reputation. I highly doubt it’s going to happen this year? Needs to be moved first and then needs to remake his name and game which everyone has scouted. He can’t be played in end game situations. Teams will now make it very tough to put him on the court and more so Fans in every arena are going to be BRUTAL when he’s out there. I think it’s a much better chance he becomes a good role player on the right team in the right situation rather than ever being a perennial All Star.I don't think it's bold at all. Holy shit that write was awful. I’m fairly sure he used “reign man” about 50 times….. as if it was Kemps actual name.Shawn Kemp.
"After the loss against the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Finals, everyone had high hopes for Shawn Kemp. His play in those Finals opened a lot more eyes from critics to fans alike, but this is where the downfall of the “Reign Man” would begin.
In the 1996-1997 season, it was observed that Shawn Kemp was going through the motions in practice like he didn't care the way he used to.
There were reports of Shawn Kemp showing up to practice drunk. Also, there were reports of Kemp staying out late drinking the night before a game.
The most notable incident of this happened the night before the most anticipated matchup of the year: February 2nd, 1997 vs the Chicago Bulls. This was the rematch of the finals to be played in Seattle.
The night before the game, the “Reign Man” apparently was throwing back drinks late into the night at a local Seattle bar named The Keg Steakhouse and Bar.
Employees of the bar said Kemp stayed till two in the morning and that he consumed nine to 10 drinks over a 3-hour, 15-minute period, mixing single shots of Crown Royal whiskey with Corona beers.
Shawn Kemp appeared to still be drunk at tip-off against the Bulls, and he didn't attempt a single shot in the first 18 minutes of the game.
The “Reign Man” would only take 11 shots in the game, scoring 16 points. His body language didn't show that he was truly invested in the game. The Bulls won 91-84."

16 points drunk is impressive. Kemp did have a turnaround in Cleveland and made the All Star team. He actually played well for us whenever Sheed was suspended or injured.Shawn Kemp.
