Who wants to have a party over at clutchfans (viewing only, no posting) IF they do in fact lose?!

Ah man, I want to post a thread about the Rockets Dynasty

Congratulations NBA, you guys have effectively killed your sport. You guys have made the regular season pointless, and the first 3 rounds of the playoffs a runner-up contest.

You have effectively made a die-hard basketball fan who doesn't watch hockey more interested in the Stanley Cup Finals than you're crappy championship.

No parity, all repetition. Why don't we make the Cavaliers and Warriors play 15 seven-game series all year and have the other 28 teams compete for a runner-up championship? And then afterwards, maybe we can do a fantasy draft so that there can be more than two teams vying for the championship? That last 6 years, it's LeBron vs. Curry, or LeBron vs. Duncan.

In the NHL, an expansion team made the finals.

Fix your goddamn league.

OMG.....it will be the Warriors against the Cavs! Who could have possibly imagined it? So much drama this season wondering who would make the Finals!

EXCITING!!!

Warriors will be the champs again...oh well

No shit. Its fucking Boring with a capital B.

I do not get what is so great about James Harden. He's not special at all.

He is great... At flopping and crying out for the refs. Even though he got fouled a few times for no calls I'm glad he didn't get them. Lord knows he gets his fair share of bullshit calls.

I don’t think any of us want another warriors Cavs series but what can you do? Lebron is amazing and the east sucks and only one team in the west could give the warriors a decent challenge and honestly the rockets of any team in the league had the best chance of beating the warriors, I could honestly see the Cavs getting swept

When Lebron comes West this summer there won't be much of an East. Hell the NBA may not let Lebron go west.

Not that great. A whining baby who gets half his points from the free throw line.

It's the Warriors and LeBron playing so well. Plus, injuries to Kawhi, Kevin, Kyrie, and CP3 have helped the Warriors through it all. Not their fault but has made things easier on him. If Boston and Houston had made it, which very nearly happened, would you still be complaining?

NBA has been this way for a long time. Usually a couple dominate teams. Many more dynasties or close to being dynasties in NBA history than other leagues. No matter how much the same finals over and over stinks, it doesn't seem to hurt the league. You still watched to this point even though you knew the outcome. The NBA is printing money these days.

I'm starting to think the 3 pt shot is bothering basketball...if they were all 2 pt shots we'd see a lot less chucking from deep...seems like the team hitting 3's can't lose.

We don't know what is going to happen in the Finals. Could be one of the most exciting Finals of all time.

We know exactly what is going to happen

Yep. Not sure what BonesJones is saying when he says the NBA "killed (their) sport." The NBA is as successful as ever. 14 highly watched conference finals games. Tons of stars in the Finals. Will get great ratings. NBA doing great.

I am very, VERY proud to say I did not watch a second of the NBA playoffs except for a few minutes of the blazers games.

Chris- tell me exactly what is going to happen, game by game. Then we have it on record and see if, in fact, "we" knew what was gonna happen.

Predictability ruins any drama or excitement. Last year was the first season ever I didn't watch the Finals.....not even one game. This year will be the 2nd.

In my case as soon as the Blazers are out, it hasn't drawn me into watching many playoff games afterwards...sometimes I'll watch a quarter...it hasn't really entertained me the way it used to.
