Bulls have to trade Mirotic as fast as possible. He is too good for the Bulls

I bet WAS tries to trade Jason Smith, filler, and a pick for him (or Ian Mahinmi, Smith, and a pick for Lopez and Mirotic)

WAS needs bench help.

That seems like such a bad deal for Chicago... doesn't Miortic have some some value? He's been playing well... what's his upside?

Look Out!!! Phoenix and Denver both won a game!

I don’t object to your stirring the pot; it’s the fact that you use your tail to do it...right after you’ve crapped on HCP’s lawn.
And then @Dougnsalem took the garbage from that and tried to recycle it at his local Fred Meyers for 10 ¢ a pop.

We'd be so much better if we had Tobias Harris... Dud has 29 points halfway through the 3rd quarter on 10/11 FG shooting (with one big dunk) and 7/8 from 3pt land.

I'm hoping Detroit falls apart and we could make a run at him. If we could somehow get a lineup of

Lillard (35) / McCollum (13)
McCollum (22) / Turner (16) / Fournier (6)
Fournier (24) / Harris (24) /
Harris (10) / Aminu (26) / Collins (12)
Nurkic (32) / Collins (16)

That team would be very good IMO.

How do we achieve this and how does Fournier come into the equation?

Based on the rotation he listed, it would have to be something like this, with who knows how many picks thrown in to quell the laughter from the Orlando front office.

Maybe we could get a little silly and do a rotation of each team's problem contract.

Why ? Because i want a high lottery prospect insted of a First Round Sweep Exit?
We have Collins and Dame and CJ. We need vets around them. Not another rookie who takes at least two years develop.

yes...because you want a lottery prospect instead of a needle moving trade and a shot at winning and getting guys like Collins some playoff experience...youth is not our weakness about now...we have three players in the G league right now developing...a really young team...we need talent in it's prime more than lottery picks...

I'd do both of those trades. The 2nd one is better IMO.
Of course we would--we send out trash and get rotation players in both. But what's your pick-inclusion threshold for these? 2 #1's? 3?

No more than 2. In the 2nd deal I don't do more than 1.

It's not possible to get good players who have been in good/great form this season like Fournier and Harris by sending out our trash. Napier and Vonleh are both free agents in the off-season and nobody knows how much they are going to receive, so even though they are both decent they don't have great value.

Good news...Thibs loves Evan Turner...thinks he's really underrated....I think he's our version of Doug Christie

Saying we don't want or need more lottery picks, but vets to surround Lillard, CJ and Collins.......ALL LOTTEY PICKS as the foundation is my favorite thing today.

I am not going to quibble with how decent a value a team out there would see them as but I want to point out that both Napier and Vonleh are restricted free agents. That is much different then just free agents as you state.

Why? We're not making it out of the 1st round for the next two years no matter what.

We gave a chance at something down the road. That's what we should be building towards.

There's this thing called draft picks. Gerald Wallace was beret than both as what'd we trade for him? Napier, Conley, Harkless, and a pick is a pretty decent package.

I'm sure they meant more ROOKIE lottery picks.

Stop being obtuse.

We most certainly do not need more rookies. More lotto picks, yes, but not rookies.
Here's my thinking. I'll get destroyed for this, but oh well.

Portland WILL NOT win a title with Dame and CJ in their prime. GS is already better, and just about as youthful. Reloading will be the key. We are also in desperate need of a SF. Either take one with the pick, or trade that pick for a young all star ish SF

Not sure this is debatable. Is this going out on a limb?
