Just would like to say this now and it forever be forgotten.

GO KNICKS.

Totally against 2nd year players being eligible for rookie of the year. I don't care if they were hurt for their "rookie" season, they were still in the league as opposed to the other real rookies.

Spurs getting Kawhi back were supposed to improve. However, if tonights score holds up, they'll have 3 straight losses, two of them to Dallas, with their last win coming against the Suns (who they only beat by 3).

OKC is so overrated man... Those pieces just do not fit and they don't have anyone outside of their Big 3 and Adams.

Man, teams are looking ragged this past week. Jimmy Butler looks so fatigued, and our own Dame looked worn out.

OKC after its triple OT game just dropped one to the Knicks missing Hardaway and Porzingis.

It's time for our bench to start producing and minutes to be managed. Stop running Dame/CJ out there for 40+ mins, we have enough knowledge on this to show this is when they're most prone to injuries.

Sam Presti has to make a decision in the next couple of weeks, they have a 132 Million payroll wich is huge for a Small Market non Contender team. I doubt there owner pays tax for such a dissapointment team. He did not wanted to pay tax for Durant, Westbrook and Harden. Why would he want to pay tax for THIS shit team. Presti now has to fire Billy D and try a new coach or trade Paul George before the Deadline otherwise he leaves in free agency

I like your phrase-coining, Labinot...a "disappointment team." Do European leagues have salary limits like caps and luxury tax?

Kawhi didn't play tonight.

I get the feeling that Napier is a decent starting PG in this league. Think how good he'd be on the Knicks. So we should play him as much as we can and that will help out Dame and CJ.

I dont know how it is in other countrys, but here in Germany we have no cap or luxury tax. The salarys are much much less in contrast to the nba. The mvp of the league has a salary of 3 Million per year.

Agree with all of the above. Who can we offer for PG while keeping Dame/CJ/Nurk? We'd have to offer good players. Napier, Aminu, and Ed Davis plus TPE? Dame/CJ/PG13/Vonleh/Nurk contends THIS YEAR.

Their not a finished product. This only in year 1. They gutted their bench to strengthen their big 3. Now the next year or so they just need to add bench pieces.

Maybe okc trade George just to get under tax line, and no Team in this league gives much for George because everybody knows he want's to join the Lakers. We have a 12.9 Tpe. So maybe Aminu + 2nd rounder for 2-3 months of PG should be a fair deal. First rounder would be to much imo

I disagree... would you be opposed to a euro winning ROY? They play against grown men much of their teen years overseas... that's an advantage too. As long as no court time is logged, they are a rookie.

So any player can sit and watch for a year on the bench and not play.....and be eligible for ROY his sophomore season.....just because he logged NO court time?

LOL at the people who really wanted Melo to come here. I'm so glad we dodged that bullet...or I should I say brick.

Melo would've been a great fit for us. We need a consistent scorer at the forward position. Aminu has been a good shooter but is only averaging 9 ppg. Melo doesn't fit in OKC because Westbrook sucks. He would fit great here in Portland. I'm sure of it. Or are you glad we still have Harkless?

If you're active, you're a rookie even if you don't play. Simmons was never active last season.

I understand, per the rules, that he falls under the classification of a rookie this year. I just don't like the rule. He still was learning while being on the bench and traveling with the team. And he still got paid millions.
