I wanna try to trade Turner, Meyers, filler for Fournier and Herzonja.

Do you have some incriminating photos of the Magic GM?

For as much shit as Meyers gets, it's actually Turner, his 8.5 PER, .486 TS% and $17.1 million salary that kills any hope of that deal ever happening.

But Napier in upper right quadrant
So that means he's more balanced, not the best. The "best" player (by TPA) would have the highest sum of OPA and DPA. Both being positive (like Napier) but low is not as good as having a large positive more than offsetting a small negative (like Dame).

LOL. barely. The x-axis goes right through his shoulders.

But who's to say what point he is affixed to? What part of the picture is the point? I'd wager to say his shoulders aren't it. I'd choose the very center of the pic.

It doesn't really matter. My point stands. Napier is BARELY above the x-axis.

The real line of interest is that downward sloping diagonal line. That's NBA equivalent of the Mendoza line. The further to the right and above that line, the more positive your total contributions.

It just illustrates what anyone who actually watches the games should already know. Dame is our best player and it's not even close.

Lillard Out!

Now's the time to trade him!

Also, it's secretly Steve Nash's revenge...Damian in essence ended Nash's career, who was teammates with Gasol...who injured Damian.

Book it, Gasol is guilty!

Lebron tonight.

Math was never really your strong suit was it? Small sample sizes now this...
Which is more?
0.1TPAoff + 0.1TPAdef (=0.2)
or
6.0TPAoff + -0.3TPAdef (=5.7)

The top one would be in the upper right quadrant. Does that make it more?

I hope he sits out till the all star break

We need a great lottery pick
To draft who? Do you even know one prospect in this upcoming draft?

I hate that the people who beat this drum usually don't know shit about upcoming drafts and prospects in them.

Sit down.

Olshey is great at drafting. I’ll leave that up to him.

The way I look at this season is to see it as a season to develop a real defensive identity...then add scoring to it via trades..people complained for 3 years about what a shitty defensive team we were and the way I see it....we're turning it around. I'm not frustrated with the season mainly because I came into this one knowing we weren't a championship caliber team....it's going to be addition by subtraction...Crabbe was the first step in that process...unfortunately Mo lost trade value but Meyers actually gained some. I think they're keeping Meyers from getting hurt more than anything by not playing him.

So Meyers went from negative trade value to 0 trade value... He's still not tradeable. I don't see how we're going to add scorers, unless they can't defend which is counter-productive. We're stuck.

Dude, you can't beat the tank drum and not know prospects. I'd Olsheys great at drafting he can find value in the 15s-20s.. Look at Donavan Mitchell, John Collins, OG Anunoby, and Kyle Kuzma... Why do we need to tank???

I disagree....I think Dallas would pick him up in a heartbeat...he's close with Wes and Dirk is getting old...they need 3 pt shooting
Their whole team is in flux. Why would Dallas trade for 3 years (and $30M) of Meyers because he's close to their SG who will likely leave on free agency this summer if he's not traded at the deadline?

So they need shooting and they could add many better players than Meyers. A team would want to overpay Meyers because they need shooting? Thats a stretch.

I have a feeling that Napier is going to shine big time this weekend. He wants this opportunity badly. I know he's played well off the bench but Stotts has go to give a chance to run the team and show the league what he's about.

Actually i kind of think Meyers has created some value here. Of course not a huge amount but somebody will want him is my guess.

As an outside person who hasn't been following the story.
Is there any other reason why KCP gets to serve his sentence playing basketball?

Weird. I hadn't heard anything about that. Based on the few reports I just read, it's part of a "work release" program that requires him to not leave the state and to wear a GPS when outside of the detention facility. I'm assuming that it's just a condition that his (well-paid) lawyers worked into his guilty plea.
