I wouldn't be so sure, the Pistons are a good guard away from being ECF contenders imo.

Maybe Kennard ends up being that guy.

No, they are a good guard away from being a playoffs team. That's still a long way from ECF. 76ers development curve is way more promising than Pistons too, as is Celtics.

I think LeBron is gonna stay in Cleveland, they will probably match offers on Hood and probably get on of Carter/Bamba in the draft. Definelty will get some ring chasing vets too to fill the rest of the roster.

Hill / Clarkson
Hood / JR / Korver
LeBron / Osman
Love / Nance
Thompson / Carter

That's a better roster than anywhere else on the market.

The next time I hear that "there is an adjustment period", or the team has to get used to each other, I'll refer to what half of a new team of Cavs is doing to the Celtics in Boston. Up 25 late in the third and making it look easy.

Well when you have LeBron James, adjusting is easy. He's the best team player of all time.

Or in laymans terms, the exception to the rule.

I'm pretty sure that' not how it works
of course its not, I just said statistically speaking he misses over 60% of his games and then used that in comparison to the games played in an ECF. I could have instead said "its almost as likley he misses the ECF and plays in it"

Lebron's all smiles now. Wait til adversity hits.

Such a cerebral player tho. Don't think there's a smarter baller currently in the NBA.

They traded their first (not the BKN one) in the IT+Frye for Clarkson+Nance deal, the Cavs really rocked the deadline.
They sure did, I have no clue why the Jazz got so little for Hood, most deadlines you would think he would be worth a first but not this year.

OMG, Antoine Walker looks like a fatter version of Shaq. WOW

I like hood but that is a major overpay for him.
Is it? Shabazz is not gonna be here next year, Hark is being paid for the next 2-3 years and Johnson is expiring. Our pick is gonna be in the 20s, so we are looking at getting another player of Swanigan's caliber on a team that needs a guy like Hood who has proven he can score and has good size. What looks better? Our current roster or...?

Dame / ET-Baldwin
CJ / Pat
Hood / Johnson
Aminu / Collins
Nurk / Davis

It's enough till he faces Warriors. People are crazy, we all know how good they are. Man was on triple-double last year and no way near championship.
The warriors are a superteam the like of which the league hasn't' really seen since there were what 8 teams in the league. The Union was very stupid on not allowing cap smoothing going forward and its showing, the lack of foresight is going to hurt a lot of non star players paydays for the next few years. An MVP in his prime switching teams to join a 2 time MVP with the DPOY and another all D wing player who is arguably the best shooter in the league is just stupid.

It depends on if we get the Harkless we have been seeing, the one from last year, or the one from earlier this year. Harkless from last year is better then Hood just to begin with and yes Hood makes a lot less then Harkless but freeing up capspace really does us nothing and the cost of a 1st round pick that from the look of this deadline, are valued extremely high by teams is just overkill.

Crowder is an all right return. He used to be good only a year ago at Boston and Snyder might get something out of him... The whole Jazz team has been rocking lately so I won't be surprised if Crowder finds his form there.

Hood was gone in the Summer anyway. Nobody was going to offer much for a six month rental of a RFA.
