Since when does getting a triple double mean you are “chasing personal stats”? Just means your are getting more shit done on the court than everybody else. Rather have my guys get double digit rebounds then stand around watching others work hard to get em. Wish we had a player steady getting triple doubles. Maybe we’d be a better team. Wish we had somebody averaging double digit dimes, maybe our guys would be getting easier shot opurtunities because of it.
Draymond Green has admitted that at times he chases triple doubles at the expense of the team. Luckily they have a great team and still pulled out a (very close, when it would have been a blowout) win but a team like ours might not be so lucky since we don't have 3 or more all-stars.

What do you think about this?

I think it is a little convenient that they picked one of the worst teams in the league to do it against and that team was even without their best player (a young stud). But, in general I actually like the idea (in moderation).

Sixers will be at least 6th seed in the East and I won't be surprised if they are 4th. Their calendar from now on is very easy.

Sixers and Jazz are the teams to watch now.

I noticed something watching Utah last night and went back through there winning streak to see if it was true. This Jazz team is REDHOT from 3 the last 10 games and they are keeping their opponents to well below league avg, since half of their last 10 games have been decided by 4 points or fewer this has obviously been a huge benefit to them. I decided to actually look at the stats and see, they have more 50% from 3 games then their opponents have of 35% from 3 games.
Utah vs Spurs 45.8% 11/24 24% 6/25
Utah vs Portland 50% 13/26 36% 9/25
Utah vs Char 34.5% 10/29 37.5% 9/24
Utah vs Memphis 27.3% 6/22 34.8% 8/23
Utah vs NO 66.7% 14/21 36.4% 8/22
Utah vs Spurs 52.2% 12/23 38.5% 10/26
Utah vs Phx 51.7% 15/29 27.3% 9/33
Utah vs GSW 50% 14/28 20% 5/25
Utah vs Raps 47.6% 10/21 25.9% 7/27
Utah vs Det 32.3% 10/31 22.6% 7/31
Jazz 45.2% 115/254 29.8% 78/261

45% vs 30% is a pretty insane disparity over that stretch of games, the jazz have made 37 more 3's then their opponents on 7 less takes adding a blistering 111 points or 11.1 points a game over that stretch. Their avg margin of victory was 13.1 points. There isn't a hotter team going into the break and the shooting the last 10 games has brought their season % up to 5th in the league at .378. They can't keep both those numbers up for long but its damn entertaining to watch it at the moment.

Ya go ahead and try doing that against Houston. Such a pompous jerk he's becoming in GS.

Triano said he was OK with it, but you know he's using it as motivation to fire up his crappy team.

I like Zach Collins a lot but I would have sent him and other pieces for Blake Griffin if I could. And that's coming from someone who isn't even a big fan of Blake but he'd make our team so much more deadly with the 3 guys we already have.

FUCK that injury prone MF.. I wouldn't want that punk MF anywhere near my team...

We would be so much better with a SF like.......Joe Ingles, and he was acquired off fucking waivers. I keep waiting for this guy to come down to earth but he keeps playing well.

On 29 September 2014, after a strong display with Australia at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup, Ingles signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.[15]However, he was waived by the Clippers on 25 October after appearing in five preseason games.[16] Two days later, he was claimed off waivers by the Utah Jazz,

The next time I hear that "there is an adjustment period", or the team has to get used to each other, I'll refer to what half of a new team of Cavs is doing to the Celtics in Boston. Up 25 late in the third and making it look easy.

What about when the Heat lost to the Mavericks?

Suns need to worry about their own shit though. Who the fuck cares about the other teams huddle?

Cleveland got wayyy better with that trade. Clarkson and Nance are fitting in nicely. Maybe it's just the honeymoon period. I don't think so.

I guess we either didn't want them or didn't have what they wanted back.

I wonder if the Spurs will make the playoffs. Aldridge and Kawhi out. Only two losses away from 9 seed. I know we're not a sure thing either, but it would be interesting if this is finally the season that the Spurs win fewer than 50 games and maybe even miss the playoffs. Stay tuned...

The team they have now is much more balanced, it got significantly younger too.

Hood > Wade, Hill > IT, Nance > Crowder and Clarkson > Shumpert currently so it's no surprise, funnily though I fully expect Crowder to get back to good form now at Utah (he's already shown glimpses), IT will probably recover some form playing for his contract. Wade will enjoy retirement in Miami and Shumpert will remain awful.

I saw an interview with Tyronn Lue last night where he made this comment:

"I thought that we've got guys that can shoot, dribble and pass, and they can make plays," Lue said of the revamped roster"

Damn how many times have I begged for that. You would think most NBA players could all do this (and compared to most of us they all can) but in reality this has been our weakness as well. IMO a minimum of three players on the floor, at all times, should possess these 3 skills. To have four would be huge.

We were far better off with him as our wing then what we got now though.

If we had kept Henderson instead of signing Turner, and still let Vonleh go for nothing to save money, would we be worse off than with current Batum?

We would've been much better off.
And there would've been no need to get rid of Vonleh in that scenario either.

Won’t even answer this sir, we didn’t.

So whoever runs the social media twitter account for Portland is sending these out to every team. It’s a thread long of cards to every team and it’s kinda stupid
