Well huge shot by Mitchell there!

You question Westbrook’s basketball IQ, yet you love watching Barton play? Good lord man.

You mean the guy that shoots 36% on 3s vs. the guy that shoots 27% on 3s?

The guy that has a USG% of 20% vs. the one that has 30%?

Westbrook does some things that no-one else does - and I actually enjoy watching him do it. But his judgement is more than questionable at times (which I am thankful for, as I am not an OKC fan).

We can’t get stuck playing Hou in the first round, has anyone in the history of the NBA got the kind of and amount of calls that Harden gets?

I would rather play anyone other than HOU and GS for the refs alone.

No I’m talking about the guy that EVERY GM and coach would want on their team instead of the other guy. Cmon with all those stats. Save that for somebody who doesn’t know the game son.

You are arguing about different things than what I say, Westbrook is a better player, duh. But he is also delightful for me to watch because he refuses to acknowledge his limitations and shoots himself in the foot.

I am delighted by the fact that okc had kd, jh and rw on their roster and they managed to lose the better 2 players...

It is 100% clear that Harden gets away with travel and gets calls when no one touches him. It's 100% clear GS gets away with screens no one else gets.

That being said, it's a business and you have to take it with a grain of salt. I just try to appreciate life outside of basketball.

How about the Lebron-led Lakers ?

How the hell are these related? When Westbrook does what he is good at - it is pretty to watch, he is a freak of nature and seeing him going downhill is amazing (sort of like a guard version of LeBron). When he shoots 1-9 from 3P and 8-24 overall like he did yesterday, while his teammates shoot well (Grant was 10-17 yesterday and 2-5 from 3) - it is idiotic (and when it benefits the Blazers that he does it, I enjoy it, like I did yesterday).

When Barton does what he does well - he is joyful to watch, with him it is not the freak of nature thing - it is the energy level and creativity that he plays with.

All I saying is that if Barton had Westbrook level raw-talent, I am certain he would not be squandering as many games because he gets into a hero mode and loses the game because of his tunnel vision - so I am judging them on a different scale - because RW should be much better.

I used to despair when Aminu was trying to dribble in recent years. I enjoy him a lot more this year because he recognized his limitations and addressed them two-fold, he worked on it a lot in the summer so it is much better, and he does it a lot less. That's great.

If Westbrook had the sense to be more of a distributor and attack the rim tomorrow - they win this game. Heck, if he took 3 less 3s and tried to set one of his teammates yesterday, they win that game.

Barton is probably the lowest BBIQ i have ever watched.

Just looked at Denver's closing schedule. Their final 14 game stretch looks pretty brutal for them. 9 of 14 on the road, but only 2 of their 5 home games are consecutive. It's basically a 3 1/2 week road trip. 2 of their home games are even the 2nd half of a road-home back-to-back.

The race for positioning within the top 4 is gonna come down to the wire

I just replied to you because on one hand you question Westbrook’s smarts, yet love watching one of the least smart players in the league. I’m a huge Barton fan as long as he didn’t have to make a decision out there. You were the one that brought all those stats up sir.

Barton played well within his parameters yesterday and I loved watching it - because it is very creative when it works for him. He brought energy, creativity and made smart basketball decisions.

If he goes out there and does stupid stuff - it is stupid as well.

I also think that there is (a reasonable) different scale of expectations. Barton is a replacement level player. RW is a superstar - there is nothing wrong with pointing out that at times he gets a red mist and hurts his team.

TNT crew talking about Toronto and Portland in the NBA Finals hehehe

IF....for some far fetched reason that were to happen, I wonder if there is any way possible to speed along Mr. Kanter's passport situation?

Nah. All we have to do is tunnel under the border wall.
