He is still playoff eligible since he was waived before March 1. I suppose we could let go of Skal and sign Tim, but with the additional luxury tax, it's prolly not worth the hassle.

Don’t recall where I heard and read it, but apparently it’s an ownership decision, and it’s creating a bit of a problem for the NBA. The NBA is also pissed because they own the Saints as well, and clearly aren’t acting in “good faith” per “entertainment” rules.

Supposedly Gentry and the players want AD to play.

Also... One has to think, some of the players already knew AD was leaving.

I mean, Jamal Crawford (and many other Blazers) made no bones, privately, about the fact that they were leaving as soon as possible to fellow teammates.

Just months after his mom passed, Magic and the Lakers waived the guy. All this talk about how Jeanie takes care of her players and nonsense that she keeps spouting, and they let Beas get worse into a spiral. What a despicable organization.
