One notion that is going through my brain is that the Blazers don't want to feature him to much because they don't want a restricted offer for his contract going to high. The crap he's getting on social media about it is terrible imo. No doubt he cares about not getting in, but I interpreted the emotion coming more from his mom's reaction to the news.

If he played for the Lakers, the media interpretation would be how passionate he is for the game and how much you want a player like that on your roster.

Ya see, I had no idea this was about his mom until I actually read the news about it. I only saw the headline and a thumbnail showing him holding it in. I'm legit more bothered about the negative reaction about his emotions than I should be.......literally to the point where I got choked up (which never fucking happens to me regarding sports). Fuck everyone who clowned him for that. Just based on this, he's now one of my favorite non-Blazers in the league today. Idc.
