"...You’ve got to be comfortable with being uncomfortable..."

"...I feel like we’re afraid to get uncomfortable, get out of our comfort zone...”
“I’m not accustomed to it, I’d never get comfortable with losing.”

Sounds like James should take his own advice and get comfortable with losing, get out of his comfort zone.

I never believed that. Or said that i did.
My statement was a simple statement of fact that he is hurt. Right now we have CJ. CJ is not nursing a knee injury. Olapido is nursing a knee injury. Nothing more nothing less.
But you butted into a conversation about that arguing with me.

Sabonis in his rookie year:

Played 81 of 82 games and started 66 of those.

Averaged 20.1 minutes per game while only averaging 5.9 points and 3.6 rebounds.

His Per-36 numbers weren't good so it's not like he was just not getting minutes.

His FG% was 39.9% which is downright terrible for a big man.

He was so bad he was basically benched in the playoffs.

Now you could look at it as an Olshey special on a lottery pick that still has potential but I don't think anyone saw Sabonis play in OKC that year and thought he was an asset that couldn't be matched. Much like Bones is doing with Oladipo you are doing the same thing with Sabonis.
Well, I'm not (at least I don't think I am, heh) and here's why Sabonis was the 11th pick in the draft the year before. It's not at all uncommon for a Big who is considered a bit Raw to take some time to develop. I think just like with Zach Collins his worth as an asset wasn't about what they saw that year, or what he was but what they hoped he could be. The 24th pick or whatever it was (26th?), wasn't more valuable, a guy like Moe or Aminu who they probably didn't value very high and think their ceiling was much higher than they were already at it, didn't have as much value as Sabonis either. Also if they brought back one of those players they probably have to give up on other assets. Just like if Zach was traded last summer or even this summer he would be considered a decent commodity because there is still the idea that he's raw and has a chance to develop and he's on a rookie contract.

No they would've wanted at least one ot the picks we traded for 10.
So? I already explained this.

Mitchell was pick #13.

He was traded for Trey Lyles and pick #24.

Even if the Blazers traded the #15 pick and CJ for George they likely could've traded some combo of #2o, #26, and a player for #13.

Jazz wanted Lyles who was a recent lottery pick and who was a great fit as a stretch 4 in their offense who's best two big men are plodding bigs.

We didn't have a Lyles that they wanted.

Lyles didn't really have much value and he only really played steady minutes after a bunch of injuries. Pick #20 and #26 in that draft would've been just as good as #24 and Lyles.

Oh yeah.i forgot. Every conversation is about Bones around here. Give it a break dude.
The fuck? Nobody was having a conversation about me?

I was having a conversation with someone else, that butted into by arguing a completely different set of context that wasn't even being discussed. You literally made a conversation that you weren't involved in all about you and your set of context that didn't even relate to what was being discussed. And then when I point that out, now every conversation is about me?

That makes less than 0 sense... congrats.

Look man. I read your post and the posts directly before them. I completely understood the conversation. My response was simple. Non threatening and about nothing other than having a healthy CJ. It went like this...
But as it stands I would rather have a healthy CJ so we have a blessing here to be thankful for.
I simply felt it was a blessing to have a healthy player and am glad we didn't get mixed up with a player that now has bad knees. It's a very simple statement. Calm down and don't think everything is an attack on you or your position. It isn't.

Brooklyn and Sacramento breaking my stereotypes, and actually beating some good teams this year.
I'm going to have to start paying more attention to them.

Nah, maybe next season.

Sacramento might start to gel again here pretty soon. Next year or two.
Brooklyn could also get some time under them and make some noise.
Neither are championship teams but they probably will make the playoffs if things continue to grow. I actually think the Nets are better than the record this year.

Nobody's feeling threatened. I'm not feeling attacked about my position or whatever crap you want to make up.

You were responding to me, when I was talking about Oladipo being the more valuable trade chip in regards to PG, to which you responded by saying you'd take C.J. now because Oladipo is hurt (not what I was discussing), but could also be interpreted as you saying McCollum was the more valuable trade chip, especially since you half-argued the point I was discussing by bringing up how the 26th pick had more value than I was admitting.

Well there you have it. " Could Also be interpreted". Speaks volumes doesn't it? What are you a chick? The comment says what the comment means. Have a nice night arguing with someone else.

Did you really just say "What are you a chick?".... :biglaugh:

"The comment means what the comment means"... Well that's exactly the point. I'm trying to point out how your comments are strangely worded, and how they're confusing. I'm not the first and I won't be the last.

But your pettiness knows no bounds. If you can turn anything into a dig or insult, you'll do it:

"What are you, a chick?" (sexist...?)
"Every conversation is about Bones."
"Have a nice night arguing with someone else."

Got any more?

It's always BonesJones. Just funny how that seems to always be the case.

Why does this dude @BonesJones always arguing with ppl? I don’t know how you guys stand him props to ya
Wait a second? First off don't come around with 5 comments and put someone on blast. That ain't how it works. @BonesJones does love this team. Probably more than most. He just has a high spirit and his responses are from the heart.
Yeah we argue but it's up to me to back down and let shit go sometimes. Just as much as him. You see... I argue also If that makes any sense at all?

Agreed. I respect the fact that we can argue quite a bit, and sometimes it gets a little petty both ways, but we dont carry a grudge.

Also, I'm 99% sure that's Tunchi. 3 posts and it's already obvious as hell.
