In Russ fashion he will put together a run of 10 games, with padded triple doubles, before playoffs and Laker fans will get that warn fuzzy. He's always padded his stats and it got him in best 75 club and probably HOF.

I don't really agree with that. Russ is HOF/top-75 because of his run of triple doubles to top Oscar Robertson's marks, not for what he's done since. He used to have a very big impact on the game, but he seems to have lost that ability gradually yet rapidly, each year. It's like he chased the triple double average too hard and it broke him.

That was pretty savage. He launched from outside the paint.
He jumped unreasonably soon. It was an unreasonable dunk.

Morant is the most exciting player since Iverson.

His rebounding has never been good for a front court player getting that type of money. 4.1 RPG....that is not good. His 3-pt shooting isn't very good, and defensively, he has declined. Would much rather have Collins or Wood, but Dame seems to like Grant due to their friendship at the Olympics.

I'd be happy to take a flyer on Grant, we see players do much better when they get to a team where they prefer the teammates and can win. Think of Harden just now, or Batum on the Clippers, etc.

Now if we have to give up a lottery pick for Grant or give him a huge max deal; no then pass.
