Not true. Our best game in last season's playoffs was Game 4 vs Denver. Dame shot 1/10 from the field and we blew them out. He did not "carry us" to that win. Come Game 5, he scored 55 but we lost. I personally believe Dame's teammates from last year are better than Ja's teammates from this year. Bane is good but not as good as CJ. Nurk is better than Steven Adams. Etc etc. And yes, Ja has to carry his team to wins. That non-Ja stretch was just a hot stretch. The Rockets won 7 straight without Ja. I guess that means they're a great team too? 2018-19 played very well without Kawhi during regular season but he carried them to title in playoffs. Ja is the number one reason by FAR that they have the second best record in the NBA. Without him for a full season, they would not be in playoffs. Not even the play-in.
1. one game is different than a 15 game sample size or 14 or whatever it is.
2. your personal beliefs don’t matter. Fortunately the games have been played, so we know who is better … as determined by “record”.
3. The rockets? Ok, well they have a huge sample size of being a terrible team. So it’s not an apples to apples comparison. If the Rockets were a .750 win team, lost their best player, and won at a .850 win clip, then sure. They’d be classified as a great team still. But going from a .150 win percentage, and winning 7 straight doesn’t suddenly make them a great team since there was 55 other games where they were well below average.
4. Exactly, Kawhi was very good and on a very good team. Dame has been very good and mostly on an average team, hence why the team sucks in games without him.
5. You literally have no idea if that is true or not. Additionally, 14-15 games isn’t exactly a “small” sample size. It’s approximately 1/5th of the season.

I’m not sure why this is controversial to you. Ja Morant is good. He’s also on a very good team as evidenced by the fact that they play well without him. Dame is good and plays on an average team, as evidenced by the fact that the team doesn’t play well without him.

You must be new?

After getting down big early, Knicks seem to be handling the Nets pretty well. Kyrie just showed up to the game with 4 minutes left in the 2nd.

Wow...KD getting his jump shot blocked by a face-up defender. Never seen that.

Is it me or does it seem like EVERY Knicks at Nets game comes down to the wire?

Luka Doncic is really really bad on defense.
In my eyes, he has now gone from a franchise starter, to someone I don't think I'd want on my team.
Horrible effort, a bad example for a "team leader"...
I wanna say "the worst I've ever seen", but hyperbole is a thing.

What I want is for the Spurs and Kings to both earn a PIT spot, and the lakers and Pels to finish 11th and 12th in the conference respectively.
That’s doubtful. Kings are going nowhere. Lakers suck but have one of the greatest players ever and are trying to win. Due to injuries/Covid/schedule, the Pels are cooked. Spurs might pull it off. I honestly believe we may get the 10 spot. No matter our roster, our schedule is sooo easy.

You’re wrong on all accounts.

Dallas is a contender this year and it’s because of Doncic. Ludicrous that you wouldn’t want him on our team. We would be odds on favorites with Dame/Hart/Luka/Nas/Nurk.

My Goodness… the Suns are just killing the Lakers

But I thought we were in tank mode?

Neither Sixers or Magic scored in the last 3:05 of regulation with a tied game. I wonder if that’s ever happened before.
