The Blazers waived Isaiah Briscoe Oct. 13. Now he's the star of Kalev Estonia, the worst team in the same league Thomas Robinson plays in.

Isaiah Briscoe – Kalev’s new star

Kalev’s Isaiah Briscoe had a special debut in front of the home fans. The young point guard spent two years at the University of Kentucky before deciding to go pro this summer. After gaining some experience in the NBA Summer League and training camp, this is his first stop in Europe.

In the first half against Astana, Briscoe focused on facilitating, dishing out five assists. In the second half, it was Briscoe Time. Isaiah buried Astana’s hopes of a comeback, finishing the game with 20 points (7-11 from the field) to go with six assists and five rebounds.

At least we're not the Clippers.
Nope, just a team that lost to them... :(

Can you believe that despite how terribly the Blazers have played, if Blake had missed that shot, Portland would be 3rd in the conference right now?

For standing up for his teammate?
I wouldnt call him a punk, but there was no need for that kind of reaction whatsoever

there was no need to defend Ntilikina, as LeBron didnt "attacked" him, Ntilikina himself started it by pushing LeBron, then LeBron just stood in front of him and Ntilikina kept pushing him...

If Kanter was in the middle of the hood doing that shit, he would've got his ass whooped. It's really some punk shit.

I guess you could call him a punk... he did that cause its LeBron

Yes to rook push Lebron but I also saw after that when the rook trying to get by that Lebron continue to slide in front him. Kanter seem to exception to it and he got involved. That doesn't make him punk it might make him a good team mate.

People see what they want to see. Kanter stuck up for his teammate. Period

Watch the tape again. This is completely wrong. Lebron just scored and is staying there to play defense. He's literally just standing there.
Ntilikina could've easily went around him. As a matter of fact, Ntilikina wasn't gonna be taking the ball out anyway so why does he need to go around Lebron? :dunno:

That's right, he doesn't.

And again, there is never a reason to forcefully push someone with your hands on purpose. The rookie deserved a tech for his actions and so does Kanter.

And if you know ANYTHING about Kanter, he is NOT a good teammate. Do your history on that PUNK. Look at his time in Utah. Lebron shoulda slapped the shit outta him.

Oh jeez, thank god we have such an urban representative. :biglaugh:

Kanter is such a bad teammate, he stood up for RW’s bitch ass, after RW kept having him benched. What a piece of shit amirite?

Urban means Black to you racist.
Nice try. Urban means city. And basketball is most popular in cities, because it’s cheap to make, and small, and made of asphalt. Unlike baseball fields.

You’re the one that brought “hood” into the conversation.

Why would you assume that basketball players are from “hoods” and why would you assume that they would beat kanter up?

:beatinto:

Wes watch....last game 33 minutes 1pt..4board..4dimes...2 turnovers......makes me love CJ even more

Kanter was out of line, but did it more for show than anything. Got the crowd hyped. Young teams can build off something like this. He was out of line, but what does he have to lose.....Bron doesn't respect him, so in his eyes, why not.

I just rewatched it.

Not only did James grab the ball after the shot (delay of game) he intentionally ran into the rookie as he was picking up the ball, then stood there in front of him, trying to antagonize something (instead of getting back on defense). Then he pushed Kanter, when kanter never touched him.

I won’t assume that basketball is a thug sport, played in the “hood” but at any park I’ve ever played at, I’d say James would be the one getting his ass beat.

Kanter was defending his teammate and telling Lebron not to bully a rookie. Don't see how you think he's a punk for that.
You know why.

He's saying it because Kanter was NOWHERE near the situation. It had been settled and cleared up and THEN he came running up and got in Bron's face. Had he been in the middle of it, I would bet dviss would think differently of it. But he ran all the way over AFTER it was over. Thats like that kid when we growing up that waits till the fight is broken up and 8 people are between the two dudes and THEN they start talking shit!

He probably took exception to the 6’8” 250 lb lebron James, trying to punk, and antoagonize, a 19 year old pg.

If Kanter didn’t run over there and say “hey wtf are you doing lebron?” He would be a shit teammate, and a bitch.

Why would Kanter, let Lebron, punk his own PG, in his own building....
