We are getting pretty close to that 20 game mark that a lot of people use as a measuring stick of who teams really are. So looking at the standings which teams are who they are and who isn't?

Oh my god!!!!! Oh my god!!!!!!
The Celtics BARELY beat the Mavs!!!!!! They are “trash. They won’t make the playoffs! Kyrie’s Just riding the coattails of the rookies....He’s trash! Lucky if they win 30 games!!!! Mavs would have beat Golden State because they suck too!

Mavs are a good team!

Detroit has surprised me. I wish it was a comparison to the bad boy pistons, but our Trailblazers are about as talented as this 2017 team.

As far as who isn't, I'd say the previous two creators of the "Around the NBA ... " threads.

When guards rebound it allows bigs to rim run.
Which can force mismatches on that end, because the offensive bigs are near the hoop attempting to get an offensive rebound.
Jason Kidd was amazing at finding mismatches because of his defensive rebounding.

So yeah, basically it helps in transition but is not absolutely essential, and doesn't require your guards to get 10+ rebounds very often. With Westbrook in particular, a lot of his rebounds last season were the result of him hanging around the basket waiting for missed shots, while the players he were supposed to be guarding would take free shots at the basket. I don't appreciate stuff like this to be honest.

Crabbe hasn't been mentioned lately, must be playing well.

Ball is shooting 31% from the field. His PER is 10.2.

If he manages to shoot 42% from the field and continues his rebounds and assists, I'd join his bandwagon. Until then, not so much.

That being said, the Lakers do appear to be a better team this year, and Ball may have a hand in that.

Did Magic chase for stats? Or Lebron? They have a lot of triple doubles too
Lebron and Magic have complete games and were never known for going for stats above all else, Lonzo has to get both assists and rebounds- so he focuses on both, not necessary a bad thing- because he can shoot about as well as I can. WB on the other hand does hunt for TD's, and did like a madman last season.

Wish we had players trying to get triple doubles.

I think you just argue just to argue sometimes. Please tell me how his scoring "literally isn't" higher when he's averaging 1.6 more PPG.

I was replying to the “that’s it” comment.

So he has a couple more rebounds... Whoopty doo.

He's shooting way worse than "normal" even though his 2 point shots are way down and his 3 point attempts have more than doubled..

Yeah, Crabbe hasn't improved. Higher volume + worse efficiency can still equal a PPG uptick. Doesn't mean he's anymore effective at scoring the ball.

Crabbe didnt have a preseason and is adjusting to a new system with a new role, so rust was expected early. In November, he’s shooting 43% from downtown, and 45% from two. The last five games; 43%+ from three, 46% overall, and that’s against teams such as Boston, Utah, and Golden State. But why am I even wasting my time with this, I’m replying to someone that thinks Connaughton “does literally everything better.”

Hopefully management realizes how much we miss Crabbe more than the majority of the fans.

I personally wish you wouldn't replay to any of my posts but hey, you can't always get what you want.

Crabbe literally can't dribble or finish at the rim. So there's that...

You literally initiated both conversations with me today, so the next step shouldn’t be difficult to figure out.
