Any that understand that the counting of steps doesn't begin until both hands are on the ball (or it's being palmed or the hand is underneath). The steps after the last dribble but before the second hand touches the ball are completely irrelevant.
You are wrong here. It starts with the first step to the gather. As soon as he went from one hand to the other hand, he starts a new gather. You cannot switch hands on the gather as he did there. That would add an additional two steps to any drive which is against the rules.
This is pretty clearly described in rules.
"In the NBA, traveling is illegal movement of the ball without dribbling, and the rules center on steps taken after the "gather" of the ball. A player can take two steps after gathering the ball to stop, pass, or shoot. If starting a dribble, they are allowed one step to release the ball. Key illegal actions include taking more than the allowed steps, lifting and returning the pivot foot to the floor, or dragging the pivot foot"

He very clearly gathered twice in those steps. Refs simply missed this call and they do it quite a bit for Giannis.

Well Salt Lake City feels its citizens don’t need to watch the Warriors vs Clips game. Just said screw it and went to local news instead…..SIGH
I worked in Salt Lake for about 6 months. Loved a bunch about the place but you have to admit they do some crazy stuff and have some very different rules/laws.

The Clippers only scored 30 points in the 2nd half last night against the Warriors.
Other than Beal, they were at full strength.

Buddy, I'm not sure what you're seeing. He dribbles with his left hand, and then the ball comes up to his right. The ball is spinning in his right hand, and the gather hasn't actually occurred yet. The gather occurs when his left hand comes up and joins his right hand--this moment right here.

At this point, his left foot is on the ground, and his right is in the air. Following this point, it's a step with the right, then a step with the left. Gather, two steps, no travel.

Two hands on the ball you’re done man. It’s simple. Anyone can see this. The Refs missed it or let it go.

At Starbucks right now. I had to ask for caffeine in my Iced Tea and they wanted to know what my sister wives wanted. Just happened to be a couple of women standing right behind me! …….. I kid…..I kid…..

Shit. Cedric Coward looking great.

Makes you wonder what we would look like with him on our team.

Lakers over the TWolves. Our 20-point victory over them is looking better.

Yeah, but the loss to the Wolves is looking not as good.

Granted, the Wolves didn't have Edwards tonight. But jeesh, its not like the Lakers were 100%
