What if we made the HUGE trade for Antetokounmbo and they sent us the other one thinking we wouldn’t notice. And on that note, how long do you think he would stay on that roster after The Freak got sent out of town. The end of the business day?

Way ahead of you with my plan to switch out Kris for Keegan Murray on the sly.

One of them (K) has a WS/48 of 0.46, the other (more expensive K) has a WS/48 of 0.49 (in other words, neither one is anything to write home about).

Do we think it is worth paying 3 times as much this year for (K) over (K) and also commit $140M to him in future years? Also, while the expensive (K) is a better offensive player, he is worse defensive player. If you believe that he is a featured player that can be your offensive fulcrum, maybe it is worth it, but if you determine that both are going to be role players, maybe the better defensive player is the one that is worth keeping around.

Yup, not so sure about that analysis... the numbers do not seem to justify it.

But you're missing the point: we wouldn't be paying more. We'd be paying Keegan what we signed Kris to. Sacramento would be the one overpaying even more than they currently are. Of course, this requires us kidnapping their dogs to make them go along with the plan. I'm fine-tuning it.

Well, if we are playing this kind of make believe, can we switch Kris and Giannis without the NBA noticing?
