Injury Update….. Looks like Luka got updated to PROBABLE.
Great news right?

Nuggets SF Cam Johnson will miss 4-6 weeks with a bone-bruise/hyperextended-knee

Denver now missing 3 starters: Johnson, Aaron Gordon, & Christian Braun. Sounds like earliest return for Gordon and/or Braun is mid-January

Spurs definitely match up well with the Thunder.

I'm amused by how chippy the Thunder get and how salty their fans get about the Spurs. Definitely lost their shine, their mojo and their poise. Caruso was missing 3s like it was an incentive in his contract. Wemby shoved Chet all over the place to the point that Lu Dort was trying to defend him like his little brother. Wemby trolled Chet and the crowd. Spurs lived in the paint, outscoring Spurs by 16 from 2-point range.

Barkley had a good analysis at halftime. He said to beat the Thunder, you need athletic guys on the perimeter and someone to defend the rim, because, obviously, if you are running the Thunder off the 3-point line, you are going to get beat to the hoop sometimes and you need an eraser. Got me, thinking, what other team beat the Thunder this year that's long and athletic on the perimeter and has a shot blocker?

Gotta love Alex Caruso going 2-12 from 3. You the man Alex and single handedly shot 1/4 of your team's 3pt attempts. Chet is a better 3pt shooter and attempted 2.

Yep, not just us, but Minnesota too.

It seems like Caruso is always money from 3 when I watch them play.

Hachimura’s stat line from last night was mind boggling considering he played like 26 minutes.

Really deserves its own thread but Jokic is from Mars. Last night was unbelievable. In OT alone he scored 18 to complete one of the best offensive performances you will find.

and Deandre Ayton had his typical no-show game. Over 36 minutes, 10 points...2 rebounds....and his consistent 0-0 on FT's with 0 assists and 0 blocks; did have a turnover though

unfortunately, the Blazers paid Ayton $304,000 for that game last night while the Lakers only paid $98,000

I don’t know, to me it looked like he was stat chasing. Kinda sad really.

HIMG_6305.jpege seems to be having a pretty good season for them. 4th or 5th scoring option. I’d LOVE to have my center averaging these numbers no?

fuck Ayton and his empty stats. Lakers are paying Ayton 8M...and they are overpaying

Clingan was better than Ayton last season and is better than Ayton this season. Timelord is better too, when he plays

by the way, when I made that post I just knew you'd come prancing in with your Ayton pom poms and 'leap' to his defense...and here you are. Next on my agenda is to say mean things about Westbrook

Against us. But he's in a major slump now. He's 4-for-24 over the last five games.

And he was missing wide-open, uncontested 3s yesterday. I think it was SGA who drove and threw some wild wraparound, behind-the-back pass to Caruso in the corner for his first or second attempt. Caruso had all the time to shoot a practice shot ... and it was short.

That seemed to shake his confidence and he just kept jacking them up from there.

He's under 30% for the year now. He's a 37% 3-point shooter for his career.

I think the key to containing SGA is a big, physical PG, too.

Noticed that last year when Scoot gave him all kinds of fits. SGA likes to jolt defenders with that shoulder so he can go up with a 12-footer while they're grounded, sometimes getting the foul, too, even though he often initiates. Scoot was too strong, and SGA couldn't get to his spot and missed several shots short.

Meanwhile, Fox kind of did to the Thunder what SGA usually does to his opponents and ate in the midrange yesterday.

BTW, guess it wasn't mentioned here, but Anthony Davis got hurt again yesterday against the Warriors.

It was a weird injury, too. He basically just went over and sat on the bench while the ball was in play. He was running down court ahead of everyone and they threw a three-quarter-court pass to him and he just veered off and went and sat down. Early reports were a "minor groin strain" or "groin spasms." Bizarre to watch.

If he kept playing, the Mavs probably would have won. But it was an odd game in general. I think the Warriors had 43 points before Steph, Draymond or Butler scored.

It's a GREAT investment to pay for the Lakers' losses.

Right or wrong Ayton will be the scapegoat

I love that the Hawks truly believe that the #1 pick from the weakest draft in the history of the league actually has value.

This dude is having an amazing season right? Or are these numbers NOT good?
