Everyone here in Philly expected a blowout tonight. But they brought it tonight and would have won were it not for some fluke shots by Miami. No one really cares much about the Sixers here. It's sad, 'cause they have a decent team with a lot of talented young players.

Holiday is legit.

Why does it seem every team has a young stud point guard except us? I hope Cho does something in the offseason to find our PGOTF

I don't think we have what it takes to land Irving, Kemba, or Jimmer. What we need to do is find someone who has talent but is still yet to fully break out.

Because John Nash and Steve Patterson thought Sebastian Telfair was a better NBA PG prospect than either Chris Paul or Deron Williams?

At least the Blazers have Luke Babbit to show for Webster, so it could be worse (not really).

Pritchard went out with a bang.

Webster wasn't going to help the team, either, but you're right. How dumb was Paul Allen to allow a guy he fired right before the draft to actually run the draft that night?

Every western series can possibly be 3-2 if DEN hangs on tonight.

Seriously.

WTF is Westbrook doing? Last game, Durant was hot down the stretch when OKC was making their run--and Westbrook killed that.

I just turned the game on and all I've seen is Westbrook shoot the fucking ball. Pass the ball dude--you're a fucking PG and the 2nd best player on the team. Give it up to Durant and let him drive and get FT's. Fuck..Westbrook is not a closer.

The same shots he's bricking tonight, he made in three games vs. Portland. He is certainly capable of making them, but tonight, Durant is on fire. Just pass it.

Westbrook keeps jacking em up. Lol

Ibaka looking like a beast defensively the last minute or so

oh wtf. Refs screwing another game.

But were they right? I didn't think you could go into the backcourt after already crossing over the halfcourt line, which the Thunder did. Just because the Thunder called a timeout shouldn't allow them to go into the backcourt.

It was a loose ball off of a rebound, possession ruled to OKC, and then a time-out, so the ball is on the side. Since there was no possession, the Thunder could go into the backcourt, right?

I wanted it to be a violation, but Durant didn't gain full possession until his foot hit the line. I think it was a good call, but we'll see what the NBA says.

I don't think Martin touched the ball, though.

No. it wasn't a loose ball off a rebound. Scotty Brooks called the timeout in the middle of their offensive possession because they had nothing going. Durant clearly had possession of the ball after it was inbounded, and stepped on the line.

It should have been DEN ball.

Yeah, that's what I saw. I never heard of that rule where you can go into the backcourt off a timeout WHEN YOU ARE ALREADY IN THE FRONTCOURT. The Nuggets should protest and play that minute again if the refs were wrong about that.

Good point. I was putting the kids down to bed, so I didn't see the whole sequence.

Didn't watch the game, but I'll point it out anyways

42 FTs for the Thunder, 21 for the Nuggets

Absolutely amazes me how there are so many games with a huge FT disparity in the playoffs

I hope for tomorrow night at the Rose Garden, huge FT disparities for the home team continue as a trend.

Doubtful. Stern has a chance at a rare double screw job.

He can screw PA (Blazers eliminated on their own court), AND he can screw Cuban (no revenue from a game 7 in Dallas). No way he passes that up!

Things are looking good for my playoff bracket in all series except for one...

EDIT: Make that two. Forgot about those damn Grizz.

ZBO!!!! glad they took that fuckwad Tony Allen outta there. tide turning.
