Shades of 06 finals with that Dirk FT miss.
Westbrook: 4 assists
Maynor: 1 assist
Who was being the real PG, PapaG?
Brooks didn't bench Westbrook because he wasn't being a PG. It was just because the bench had a good flow and he didn't want to change anything. Westbrook has won a TON of games for the Thunder this year, not the least of which was Game 7 against the Grizzlies where he had a triple double and the age of 22.
When did Brooks say that he agrees with you?
Dirk's scoring average
2006 Finals: 22 ppg
2011 WCF: 39 ppg
Westbrook is a has-been I tell ya. A once was.
3 TOs in the first half of Game 3; 2 assists.
He will get better, but he's not what he thinks he is at this point of his career. He's dominating the ball, and then passing with 10 seconds or left on the shot clock.
Plus, the Mavs are really good.
I can't stand Westbrook personally. I think he has insane talent but he wants to be the #1. If he can accept that he isn't the #1 and starts to facilitate more instead of just charging the basket with his head down when he is frustrated.
Westbrook with the Tech, starting meltdown mode?
Westbrook bad shot in an ISO.
Not like Durant is doing so hot himself.
The Thunder have two offensive options: Durant and Westbrook. They've just gotta keep shooting until they break through.
They've got a lot more capable scorers, and a system that facilitates that. How many offensive options do the Mavs have?
