I would do it. I would definitely do it, and then try to turn around and do a sign-and-trade for Monroe.

Monroe puts up nice numbers... and Detroit still manages to suck. A bit of a red flag, I'd've said.

I think Kidd wanted out of NJ because he didn't want the expectations involved with that job. No pressure in Milwaukee. They always suck anyway.

I did find it interesting though, as hearing this, combined with Olshey not mentioning Wes as part of the "core" when he talked about talking with the players before signing Blake/Kaman leads me to believe Wes is viewed as tradable and will likely be the guy to go if we are looking to upgrade any other part of our roster.

Take it for what it's worth, but from the times I've talked with him, the guy seems like a decently reliable source.

They realized that Lebron is only on a 2 year contract.

I don't think it matters if it was a 10 yr contract, what lebron wants is what the Cavs will get. They may have a potential future star SF in Wiggins, but Lebron is a SF and wants to win now. Trade the potential future all star for a current PF all star. I knew Cavs would cave with the tough Wiggins talk . . . Kyrie, Lebron and Love is a scary big three.

You like young talent, would you trade LA for Wiggins, Bennent and a first round pick?

They lost him once, you know they don't want to lose him again. They probably won't pull the trigger on any trade unless Lebron signs off on it first.

Agree. Lebron runs the show in Cleveland. It's because he wants Love that Cleveland will offer Wiggins.

Josh Smith on the block. I know we've been over this, but would you do this? It would give us a bench of Kaman, Blake, Smith, CJ and either Barton or some SF we can pick up now they're being waived all over the place. (Carney didn't even look that bad when he got minutes.) Smith was awful for Detroit, and has a huge contract, but he was being played at SF, which encourages his worst jacking tendencies. Put him at PF and make him stay away from the three point line, and maybe he'd return to better form. And isn't he essentially what we hope Thomas Robinson might someday approach?

He would be horrible in our offense. Good player, but I do not think it is a good fit.

So you want Batum or Matthews to come off the bench? Josh Smith will not want to come off the bench.

You may be right but I'd like to see an argument. And doesn't he have essentially the same skillset as Thomas Robinson (albeit more proven and with a history of being a really good defender) whom we'd be hoping to integrate into the offense if no trade is made?
