Simmons wants out of a work environment he believes is toxic and is willing to give up millions to do it.

Testing doesn’t eliminate all chances/risks of spread.

BTW, is the NBA not doing regular testing, anyway? I thought I read somewhere that a major sport was still enforcing fairly strict testing across the board, regardless of vax status, but can’t find the article.

NBA won't test fully vaccinated players regularly, issues COVID protocols for 2021-22 season

• Fully vaccinated players and team personnel will not be required to undergo regular coronavirus testing during the 2021-22 season
  
• Fully vaccinated individuals won't be required to quarantine if they come into close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19, and won't be restricted from team activities.
• If all players on a team are fully vaccinated, there may not be any restrictions on "away-from-work activities," such as attending indoor bars, clubs and lounges.

There are still tests. As part of the Tier 1(players/coaches/staff) I had one yesterday and am having another next week. The NBA put out their plan, but not sure of the testing frequency off hand.

One swap for your gums and then the other one into your brain through your nose. Don’t like that one. Trying to figure out why there are so many different tests. In Japan we had to fill up this little vile with spit every morning. Is one better than the other?

they already have that test in the USA. It's administered annually by the IRS
