Anthony Randolph tonight vs. Mavs: 31 points, 11 rebounds on 14-20 shooting.

David West had his knee buckle on him @ UTA. Twitterverse is saying it might be a torn acl.

We know all too well about non-contact knee injuries.

I bet Monty takes the Nate approach and the Hornets dont skip a beat.

New Orleans, 9-15 since they were 31-16 2 months ago, is barely going to squeak in, 8th seed behind Memphis.

Fact I just discovered: Utah has gone 9-14.

Coincidence or Stern ???

As much as I'm enjoying watching Utah losing to a crappy team like the Wizards, I'm feeling conflicted because I know it improves their chances in the lottery. I don't just want them to suck short term, I want Clippers like long term suckage.

Cavs playing the Heat tough. Up by 7 in the 3rd quarter. Its getting chippy.

Tonight the New York Knicks, and their fans, are celebrating clinching a playoff spot for the first time in seven years after climbing to an even 0.500 record with tonight's win.

Meanwhile, in the Western Conference, the 13 games over 0.500 (45-32) Blazers haven't clinched a playoff spot.

East is the tougher conference. Harder to get wins out there.

This graph shows that the West's #9 team is consistently better than the East's #8 team. It takes a few minutes to figure out.

Utah beats LA in LAL

GS beats POR in POR

One of those nights

Man, let's hope the Rockets beat the Hornets tomorrow. Otherwise, we would drop to 7th with just 4 games to go in the season.

Let's go Rockets! Off to a 10-0 start.

Darn it! Hornets went on and beat the Rockets. So we are back at 7 and the Rockets are eliminated from any chance at the playoffs.

No. The Rockets won the season series against Memphis. If they win out and the Grizz lose out, the Rockets can still make the playoffs.

Oh I see. Thanks for the correction. That means the Rockets would need a miracle to make the playoffs.

Shit happens in this league. If Spurs can lose 6 in a row, the Grizz can lose four in a row and all Houston has to do is win 3 games.

Lucas Nogueira measured 6'10" (w/o shoes) today at the Nike Hoop Summit. Here he is next to the 6'9" (yes, 6'9") Dwight Howard:

Golden State is about to beat the Lakers. Doesn't that mean the Spurs clinch the number 1 seed? It also makes me not feel as bad about our loss to them.

GS is a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde team on the road and at home. Losing to them last night was a BIG deal.

NO @ MEM coming up in an hour.

Biggest non-Blazer game of the season I think.
