Bayless averaging 24pts/6asts on 53% shooting and 50% from 3 in his last 5 games

Cho dropped the ball on that one

Thank you Memphis. 100-76 with 5:20 left.

Now the hard part. We have to win out.

The Celtics look like their age has caught up with them.

What will Ainge do if they are bounced early?

Outside Rondo, the core ranges from 33 years old to nearly 40.

Blow it up and start rebuilding?

Don't forget they also have Green, who is a decent young player.

Is that the bench player on one of the worst teams in the league? Oh, that Bayless.

Bayless doesn't make his team win. Cho was new and taking orders from McMillan to trade him.

Wow. 9 of 10 Nuggets who played scored in double figures last night.

Some former Blazers had very solid April's:

Cunningham: 13 PPG | 6 RPG | 50 FG% | Bobcats: 2-6 (34-48 overall)

Bayless: 22.5 PPG | 5.6 APG | 48 FG% | Raptors: 2-6 (22-60 overall)

Two guys I'll always root for. Repped for passing it on.

Those numbers are as a starter primarily, and he has put that up basically for the month of April. Not that I think it was a bad trade. I would haev happily included him to Charlotte for Wallace, and that is basically what happened.
But still, great numbers as a starter for Bayless...discounted because of he is on ONE OF the worst teams in the league. But what if you put up great numbers on the actual WORST team in the league? That's different, right?

O

I don't think it's a controversial position after seeing Mills and Johnson play this year that we could have used Bayless more than the NO draft pick this past year. The Crash deal would still have gotten done, just with our pick.

Sorry, wasn't arguing the getting rid of Bayless portion. We copuld have used him, for sure. And maybe the deal still gets done, maybe not. Just saying I woudl have been fine including him in the deal.
My point was more that Bayless put up good numbers for a losing team, really good numbers, 23 and 6, and mick discounts them because they came for a crap team, but he has been the biggest Love supporter on here, and Love's great stats came for the actual worst team team in the league. So if one is just a good stats on a bad team, why not both?

According to Ric Bucher (via ESPN chat) he expects a Dwight Howard trade this summer.

Howard is looking at LA or NJ, nothing in between.

I'd think playing with a 26 y/o Deron Williams who's just entering his prime would be far more appealing than playing with an aging 33 y/o Kobe Bryant and 31 y/o Pau Gasol.
