If NOH makes a crap deal to get CP3, that's on NOH. If ORL makes a stupid deal to get rid of HOward, that's their fault.

Nice to see we lost 1/4 of a season "negotiating" a new CBA that would prevent the players from forming SuperFriend alliances in all the big markets. Yeah, right. Last summer's LeBron Decision was just just the tip of the iceberg. The way this is going, the NBA will eventually get to the point where there will only be four or five teams with any shot at winning a championship and the other 25 teams in constant rebuilding mode as any talent capable of making them a contender that they manage to draft will flee for one of the big market SuperTeams the first chance they get.

Yep, but that was only year one of the SuperFriends era. Would Dallas win this year if CP3 and Superman both end up in LA? If the Heattles add Billups, and possibly a servicable big man? The rape of the small market teams is only going to get worse. It used to be the Clippers were the farm team for all the other 29 teams. Cleveland and Toronto joined them last year. Now, New Orelans. Before long 85% of the teams in the league will be the farm system for the other 15%.

Only if teams like NY, Boston or Lakers land someone like Howard or Paul for nothing. The other stuff is just business. But lets say Lakers somehow orchestrate Howard and Turk for Artest and Bynum. It sucks if they land Howard, for sure. Is that the only trade available for Orlando? Is it the best trade? Worst trade? it sucks that the Lakers one dip into the lottery, or close, they landed a very good, but oft injured C to an otherwise goo dteam. And that they can then use that player as a trade chip. Usually, teams are goo dbecause they make good decisions. And obviously, luck plays into it. They took bynum. Same draft, we traded down to get Webster and Jack. Did the NBA make us do that, or did we just have an idiot running our draft?
