Kobe listens to his new coach with great respect:

I remember the point at which I stopped hating Jordan and started to feel a bit sorry for him. I'm not there yet with Kobe but...

There will be some drama between Brown and Kobe this season. Any takers on when and what its about?

Blake
Barnes
Caracter
Ebanks
Kapono
Goudelock
Morris
Walton

That's their bench. Yikes.

^ pretty pathetic.

Odom coming off the bench was one of the reasons that the Lakers have been so good over the years IMO.

PG: Rubio | Barea
SG: Wesley Johnson | Wayne Ellington
SF: Derrick Williams | Lazar Haywood
PF: Kevin Love | Michael Beasley
C: TBD | Anthony Randolph

I like this Wolves roster.

Phil Jackson retired for a reason...

(Oh, and I believe Walton is retiring because of his back.)

Walton isn't retiring. Lucky us!

Barea ain't gonna get the looks he got in Dallas with that roster around him.

Wonder how his Puerto Rican princess is gonna like those frigid Minnesota winters.

Billups to the Clippers?

Clippers might have better squad than the Lakers this year. I'd love it!

That's a 30 win team AT BEST (I'm being generous). I think they will still be a cellar dwellar in the league.

Might? They do. Come on...all we have is a mentally fragile Pau and an aging Kobe. By trading Odom, we've put all our chips in Drew to stay healthy and live up to this potential. That's a scary thought. The Clippers will challenge us for the division title and I wouldn't be surprised if they won it.

reverse woofing doesn't work.

Love, Beasley, and Williams.........would be interesting to see on the floor at the same time. If that can't happen then Beasely needs to be traded.

With a competent coach in Adelman? Don't bet on it.

Rick needs talent to win games, not just himself (see his Golden State teams)

Plus, 30 wins in a 66 game season isn't horrible. It's just 6 games under .500

OR, a 38-44 team in 82 games.
If Rick could've gotten that team to win 38 games in a regular 82 game season (which would be a 21 game improvement), and/or Rick can get a team that won 17 games last year to win 13 more games in 16 less games, he deserves COTY

The Twolves basically would be improving by 17 games (on a pro-rated scale). Rick is good, but he's not THAT good.

I forgot they traded Flynn. Where is he now?

ahahaha Kobe's "..cool." over the the dumb comment of "well Odom's picture on the Mavericks' website, they're really rolling out the red carpet for him" killed me. As well as the "Smush's a bum" comments.

Winning 6 more games from 30-36 would put you at 36-30.

3 more = 33-33

My team is 30-36. We are 6 games below .500. We win 6 games in a row. We are at .500. Every time we win, they don't take away a loss.

Ya. I thought you were referring to this season when there are only 66 games. N/m.
