Wow actually with the trading of Odom for TE and the possibility that the Lakers must offer Gasol and Bynum for Howard. I'm gonna say, short term, they will suck. But the reason I don't this; even though I think it makes them much worse, is their future. Kobe has 2-3 years left and Howard hasn't even reached his peak. I would hate for the Lakers not have to suffer.

He's got a long injury history since being traded. He's wroth a vet minimum, but that's about it.

Not surprising that GS would do something like this. They get a big with 6 fouls for the year while retaining there amnesty and keeping that 7 mill for next years FA.

Or you could get 6 fouls for the league minimum $0.4 million

We just need somebody who can consistently hit a J off the bench, Sorry that doesn't mean you HCP

blazersedge Broussard: Blazers "Interested In" UFA G/F Josh Howard

Wasn't he the guy who refused to stand during National Anthem? If so, fuck him

IMO only reason we would have interest in him is if a Wallace or batum trade might be happening

Yeah, I'd love to acquire his talent upside, but SF is our only position with two great players.

Kwame isnt that bad. They overpaid him for one year instead of giving him guaranteed money for multiple years. Bigs are paid more and brown is a fine roleplayer

I still can’t get over how stupid of a contract this is. Kwame is that bad, people justifying his crapyness reminds me of the Laker fanboys trying to say Travis Knight could be an acceptable PF somewhere.

If Kwame is playing significant minutes your team is crap, plain and simple. The Warriors had a valuable asset in cap space, they could’ve acquired a valuable player that another team is dumping, like Lamar Odom or even Ronny Turiaf. The Warriors could have seen how the rest of the free agent pool works out; Nene, Stuckey, Crawford, Landry are available. They could have done absolutely nothing right now and used cap space during a trade. Instead they blew money on an atrocious player that is grouped into discussions with Olowakandi and Eddy Curry. One of those players is out of the league, one signed for the vet minimum, and the other signed for $7 million?

One year of Kwame at 7M or multiple years of Chuck Hayes at a lower annual price?

I take Chuck Hayes any day of the week.

Kwame instantly becomes there best posr defender. Comparing him to travis knight is laughable. Kwame is decent, everyone thinks otherwise since he has never lived up to expectations. If he would have been drafted out of the lottery no one would have this judgment of him.

Kwame Brown allowed 48% shooting in post-ups last year, ranked 202nd overall in pts allowed/possession. Let's all chill.

McBob is also for the mini mid level. Solid signing.

Rudy wants to be bought out. Rofl. Glad we got rid of him.

Not me, with B-Roy gone I think he would thrive in a up-tempo system along with increased playing time. Or at least hit some big three's that Roy normally would.

What did we get from giving him up anyway ?

We got Dallas' first rounder, which Denver wanted in Felton-Miller swap. So was essentiallY Rudy and Miller for Felton.

Sounds, though, like Rudy might go to Denver for future picks.

the 26th pick (we had to send Kopo, also), so that we could send Jordan Hamilton with Miller to DEN for Felton.

WE gave up too much IMO, especially considering we had to agree to not pick Faried. But I guess only time will tell on that one.

Maybe he just had a sensible Dr who told him that a player coming off a knee injury should drop a few pounds.

(feel free to draw what comparison you will to certain Blazer players/staff)
