I "cut the cord" on cable, so I'll be watching it on ESPN3. No DVR though, and I won't be home until halfway through the first. I guess I'll be missing the fanfare leading up to it, but maybe they'll sell a DVD for the game.

Man.... it didn't really start getting to me until yesterday. I've got those butterflies that I haven't had since the Blazers were in the WCF back in the late 90's and early 2000's. I can't believe we're here. An Oregon team is about to play for a National Championship! It's unbelievable.

Agreed MickZagger... and to think it all started for him with the loss to Boise State... and the Blount punch... and then the media attacking him... talk about the worst possible start to walk into... but he didn't wilt at all... he defended the team like a bulldog... treated them like his own kids... and look where they are now.

I just have to try to not drink too much beer before the game. When that other Oregon team (can't mention name... don't want bad ju ju) was playing in the College World Series I can remember telling my son that it was a once in a lifetime event so see an Oregon team play for a national championship in a major sport... then of course they did it back to back... and now the Ducks in football... it is almost unbelievable.

Just bought a new $1700 42" Plasma (with 3D) and I can't wait to watch the game on ESPN HD. Video Only got it for us for only 800$ because of overstocking and not being able to display this (new) model. Its so great.
