Alright I found it....now only if I can find the pencil tool to shade in the pixels...

Right click on the Paintbrush tool.....you will see it then.

Don't use a pencil, it will take too long. Use a brush.

to make a new layer, go to Layer>New>Layer and press ok

One last question....if I accidentally blur a little bit of the face of the player I want to focus on, is there any way I can unblur it? I tried the sharpen tool, but it didn't really unblur it....when i did it too much it took some of the face off and when I tried to get it just right nothing changed...

either undo (ctrl+alt+z) or go over to the little window that has tabs saying "history" and "actions". click history and delete the bar that says "blur tool" there might be a bunch, so you gotta find the right one

Its a nice avatar. I like avatars where its simpler in color(like yours is black and white, mine is black, white, and blueish color).

I like the BG effect you did on that too.......blurred, but with a pattern/texture to it....
