Long story short, when it comes to Lillard getting calls he is clearly not getting as many as he should but the good thing about that is that when he finally does he will be on that Harden level of annoying for opposing fans and more importantly a huge weapon at the end of games given his great free throwing shooting percentage.

I'm just happy he's being aggressive. When he gets 7 or 8 FTA in a game, he usually has a big night.

Just a trend I noticed. When he gets more than 8 FTA, he has a big night. Last night was not bad, but his shot was off.

You are right about the arms straight up, BUT you can't jump into the offensive player. You have to jump straight up.

If you go to the 1:38 mark, you'll see Lillard drive and I think Kanter jump into Lillard with his chest while his two arms are straight up. That's a foul, and guys like Harden would get that call no problem.

People getting that call should not be. If they are, the ref is most likely out of position and not looking through the players.

Edit: Kanter is actually jumping backwards and Lillard is creating every ounce of the contact. There is contact but it is not illegal by either player. It's a good no call.

What about being in the circle though?

The fact is this, whether people should or should not be getting that call, they ARE getting that call. Guys like Harden, LeBron, Durant, Westbrook, Wade, etc. I want to see our star get the same calls.

I'm not one of the people who thinks Nic needs to score to be effective on the team, BUT I would like to see him take more than 4 or 5 shots. He was 3-5 from the floor, and I would much rather see Nic take a couple more shots, rather than see Mo take 12.

Word! I wish he were a little more aggressive on the offensive end because so often he has a mismatch in his favor. Also, if that creates more shots for him and less for No Williams, then I'm quite ok with that.

Still would if we didn't get Lillard. With Lillard, no one is concerned about Nic scoring anymore.
