I thought about that last night at the game, OKC could use a guy lke Hickson, they need some more size IMO...and Lamb is 4th string behind Martin, Sefolosha & possibly Liggins....

They already have Ibaka who they really missed last night.

Yep with Ibaka they don't have much of a depth issue at the 4 and 5 position. The spot they are weak at at SF but it doesn't matter because Durant doesn't come out for more then 8 minutes a game max.

I'd love to have him, as a backup, for a reasonable price. That doesn't seem very likely. I'm not smart enough to know if his cap hold will keep us from making a deal or signing a more useful player this summer. In the meantime, he's not a center, and LaMarcus plays in front of him at PF.

Sacramento flat out just waived him

No NBA thought enough of him to offer more than a 1 year, 4 million dollar contract this past off season

So what is it that you know that EVERY OTHER NBA TEAM doesn't?

He knows not to offer him more than a 1 year deal at only 4 mm

Hickson is a great hustle guy, but he is a PF. We have one of those already, so re-signing Hickson for anything more than 4-5 mm per is kinda insane. This team is desperate for two things to take the next step in it's growth process.

1. Someone that can defend the rim.

2. Someone who can create his own damn shot so Lillard and Aldridge won't get double teamed all night.

IMO, Hickson does neither of those things remotely well.

turning Hickson into just about any 1st rounder this year would obviously be a win (Ross, Lamb, White (?), Wroten, etc...). OKC, UTH, PHX and CHA have picks that are reasonable to be in the lotto in the next 2 years. I'd look at one of them.
