Like it or not, he's been on stage with a dozen qualified and informed candidates. Afterwards, his standing in the polls has only gotten stronger.

Polls....as I've said before, I haven't been polled, nor my wife or son or anyone I know..I don't believe in any poll that has not included the opinions of folks I live around in Oregon. He also has not debated one on one with anyone yet other than moderators and we know how that turned out

The mathematics behind polling allow for a small subset of people to be polled with accuracy to within a small margin of error.

It matters not if you specifically, or your biased friends, were polled.

You're giving the average American far too much credit. The people who actually watch the debate will get a far better overview of the candidates but little said will change their minds. Undecided voters don't watch debates. What will change voter's minds will be the 10 sec sounds bites the press will air after the debate. These will always favor Trump.

"What are your answers for the immigration problem?"

Trump: "Fuck You!"

Sanders: (Insert 2 min long well thought out response full of ideas and policy.)

Trump will get the attention and sound bite.

The way our media reports things today using short attention span video clips and sound bites favors Trump's style of campaigning.

Polls are not accurate..they exclude demographics that don't fit their purpose. I just polled to see who was polled and nobody responded...proof right there
