Loved Chrome but it started eating too much RAM for my ancient laptop so I had to switch to Firefox.
No complaints at all about FF, but if my computer could handle it I'd still be using Chrome.

Webkit based browsers are in the Apple and Android phones, Chrome and Safari. It's one heck of a thing to have all the mobile companies and Google and Apple spending big bucks making the software better.
I have firefox installed on my computer but I honestly don't remember the last time I used it. The only time in the past 5 years that I've run IE is in cases where IE is required for a specific site or to test that my WWW stuff works in IE.
Isn't Chrome dumping webkit?
I tried chrome. Aside from allowing in more viruses it seemed 'flimsy'.
Chrome lately. Honestly, from a non-tech persons perspective, I think they are all pretty close to even.

I get the impression, having used both Chrome and FF, that Chrome is faster.![]()
Safari 6 is really good. Bookmarks are synced across my computers, my iPad, and my iPhone. Heck, if I have a page open on my desktop, I can see that on my phone and open it there, too. It's almost identical to Chrome, except the developer tools are weaker. But for developing WWW stuff for mobile, you can use the desktop browser dev tools to communicate with the device over USB.
This, and it ain't even a little close.FF with adblock +. No contest.

Why isn't Chrome with adblock+ close?
Maybe I didn't give it enough of a shot, and I admit it's been a while. I tried it for a short time, but occasionally ads would get through, or blocked ads would screw up the layout of the page, or it would just be slow as shit.Because he hasn't used that combination together.
Do they have good extensions/add-ons for Safari? That's the main reason I use Chrome.
